    Description

    Based on my original Taxi Ribbon mod, but now with animation.

    The arrow is replaced by a small sphere that has animation in the direction to move.

     

     

    Unzip the .zip file to your Community folder.

     

    You can also use a Simvar: “FLY ASSISTANT RIBBONS ACTIVE” to turn the Ribbon and Glidescope element On/Off.

     

    ***Due to a bug in SU1 both the Taxi and Landing Ribbons react on the same Taxi_Ribbon_Toggle command. It's not something I can fix so it's up to Asobo when this issue gets fixed.***

    Have used this for a long time, it's excellent. On SU2 update 2 for 2024 it now seems to stop the EFB from appearing in VR. Very odd.

    This is not a bug of the program, but a bug of FS 2024, that the use/activation of the taxi ribbon is always accompanied by the appearance of blue squares in the sky on the landing path. Isn't it possible that if one wants to use only the taxi ribbon there should be a final removal method for these?

    Not working in 2024. Do I put the cyg-taxiribbon-anim_v1.0_LgaUj folder or the cyg-asoboui folder in the Community folder?

    cyg-asoboui is the folder you should have in Community.

    Hello friend, thks for that addon; i got a little issue with it, when i got it in the community folder, in the task bar my "Assistant Flight" is grayed; how to fix that friend ? Can you help me please ?

    Just thought I'd let you know that the mod currently seems like it might be broken in the current version (Sim Update 14) - nothing shows up with the option on for me, was working fine last update or two ago (haven't played recently).
    Taxi ribbons start working again when mod is removed.

    Also a review for it:
    Really like the idea behind this, makes the taxi "holograms" much more immersive as if they are some sort of smart airport lighting system.

    At this moment is like a too short trail. You can see it only from outside under the plane. Kind of useless.

    It works fine with SU12. It's a nice addon that increases realism. I got rid of the big blue arrows.
