The airfield is used simultaneously by civilian aircraft and the Swiss Air Force from the "airfield command Locarno". The Vampire and Mirage skin are from FlyAwaySimulation, the Mirage III is from Restauravia (all converted from FSX models using MSFS Legacy Importer). The civilian section of the airport was opened in the summer of 1939. The military section followed the following winter. Since 1941, the Swiss Air Force use it most, because it has good weather conditions for basic flight training of military pilots. At the end of World War II, Swiss authorities identified existing locations that were to be modernized as regional airports, a second tier of infrastructure to support the primary urban airports, with Locarno-Magadino being one of the five.
The most important Locarno command aircraft stationed at the airfield is the Pilatus PC-7 for completing basic training for aspiring military pilots. Locarno is also the unofficial base of the Aerobatics formation Team flying PC-7's. The following aircraft are also frequent visitors - the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo-Porter, Pilatus PC-9, Eurocopter EC635, Eurocopter AS532 Cougar, Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma and ADS-95 (RUAG Ranger).

Hi! Fantastic scenery! Really well made! I´m just wondering one thing, how did you convert the aircrafts from militaryaiwork? I have tried converting this: https://militaryaiworks.com/download-hangar/file-library/download/12-complete-ai-packages/2047-package-saab-105-sweden-austria-for-fsx-p3d-jyai
and this: https://militaryaiworks.com/download-hangar/file-library/download/96-official-maiw-conversion-packages/1671-maiw-krai-saab-jas-39-gripen-conversion
Using the Legacy Modelconverter, however, the aircrafts don´t show up in the scenery editor even though I set the destination to the community folder. Do you mind helping me? Would really mean a lot if you just explained what I did wrong or had to do.
Thanks!

That is all there is to it.

You must convert only the static aircraft that the developer has placed in his scenery. There are no Saab statics, so you will never see those.

Aa, I see. That must be the problem as the Saabs are AI aircraft. That explains why it didn´t work. But thanks for the help anyway!

Excellent MOD. I flew too to Locarno with a PA28 and I flew an old Hunter from St Stephan to Locarno in 2005 (with instructor). So I use LSZL from Redwing and also I use this MOD as extra fun. THANKS Tag21 For the ones who find it not realistic, well, then.... do not use this MOD if you can't enjoy it and perhaps they might consider buying the LSZL from Redwing !...

Thanks, Gberthe. I could not have put it better myself.

I fly from Locarno IRL. Unfortunatly it is total fantasy not only for what corcening buildings but even for parked aircrafts. There are no fighter Jet in Locarno and the Military area is only that on the west (with PC7 and Porters only. You have put military aircrafts even on the GA area. Look at the pictures on the web and you will see it.
