    Description

    A batch of RPN scripts to allow you to configure your hardware devices to control various Fenix Simulations A320 cockpit switches including:

    • FCU
    • EFIS
    • External lighting
    • ADIRS
    • ECAM
    • Fuel
    • Pressure
    • Anti-ice
    • Engine masters and mode
    • Tiller pedal disconnect
    • Transponder
    • Wipers

    I have also included an example template for the Honeycomb Bravo which covers most of the FCU controls, including:

    • Push/pull actions for SPD, HDG, ALT, and VS
    • Rotary controls for SPD, HDG, ALT, and VS
    • LOC
    • APPR
    • AP1 and AP2

    I plan to map many more of the available buttons and switches in the cockpit. If you'd like to help me by contributing to the project, you can find it on GitHub here.

    Installation

    Import the fnx320_scripts.xml file using the Scripting > Import scripts option in AAO.

    You can then assign these to buttons as you can any other simulator event. I've included a screenshot from the AAO documentation demonstrating this above.

    How can we add the flood night knob (I think it is A_MIP_LIGHTING_FLOOD_MAIN) to a physical rotary knob or axis? I can't even find the flood lights in your pedestal variables. Thx!

    I cant find Battery 1 or 2 toggle inside the scripts?

    Hi, thanks for the great script. I can get the rotary knobs working (change heading, vs, altitude and speed), but the mappings for pulling and pushing knobs do nothing. I have tried everything in axis and ohs, but cannot get the script to pull or push the knobs. The button presses work ok as well (approach, loc etc)

    Sure way to get it to work: 1. Download script file (from flightsim.to and make sure to extract the file) 2. Import the script in AAO 3. Connect to sim in AAO 4. Import Template (should easily be found in your downloads folder w/script file) 5. Apply template 6. TO MAKE THE TURN KNOBS USABLE: Go into EACH action such as VS increase and VS decrease, HDG increase and HDG decrease, etc. Change the default from ASSIGNED BUTTON to ASSIGNED COMBO. Then change the left knob from the desired action to another action and back to the desired action. Example for enabling ALT Increase and Decrease: Left knob is set to ALT, I would turn it to VS and BACK to ALT, then click save. Check to make sure your settings are working. Again, you must do this for EACH action, both INCREASE AND DECREASE. DO NOT TOUCH THE RIGHT KNOB during setup. ALSO, MAKE SURE TO SET UP A NEW PROFILE FOR THE BRAVO TO PREVENT ANY DOUBLE ASSIGNMENTS OF BUTTONS AND SAVE IT IN THE SIM. Hopefully that all made sense. I tried to simplify it as much as possible. Cheers! Side note, if I'm not mistaken, you have to do this for EACH livery. But I may be wrong.

    FANTASTIC JOB TO THE CREATOR!! SAVED ME A TON OF TIME AND HEADACHE!!!! Only thing I would change, I'd add the different lights (landing, taxi, beacon, etc) to the switches instead of FD, pedal disc, etc. Thanks again!

    How do you get the right knob working in the template?! And even the buttons for push/pull for altitude, speed, hdg etc are not working. :(

    Yes, it does. I just reprogrammed mine after resetting my pc. Sure way to get it to work:
    1. Download script file (from flightsim.to and make sure to extract the file)

    Can anybody help me, this script worked excellent for me but not anymore. I see that the butoons are correctly configured in AAO but it doesn't do anything in the sim.....what am I doing wrong?

    spent forever trying to figure out how to get the autopilot rotary knobs to work with axis and ohs and fenix a320 on the bravo throttle using the MCP Combo FENIX A320.tmpl but i cant get it. Did anyone figure this out? all the other switches work but turning the left knob to say IAS and trying to increase speed with the right knob for example doesnt work

    I figureit out if anyone is struggling:


    The combos are already inputted however for some reason in order for it to work you have to click each individual action (for example hdg increase) in axis and ohs, click the combo key and rebind it. Now the rotaries work.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your amazing program

    I have set up and it works great with everything except the rotary on the fcu (speed hdg, alt v/s and baro)

    What can i possibly be doing wrong? Please help

    I did it, i was setting everything up with cold and dark. The thing is that they dont rotate or push/pull visually, but the job is done. Great!!!

    Axis and Ohs RPN Scripts for the Fenix A320 to allow you to configure your hardware devices to control the FCU (autopilot), external lighting, and various other controls. The package also includes an example template for the Honeycomb Bravo. This is a work in progress and will be expanded to include other cockpit controls.
