The airport Speyer/Ludwigshafen is a small regional airport, mainly home for GA flight clubs and flying schools, but also some business jets. Speyer is approx. 90km south of Frankfurt and not too far away from the French border.

The airport has an asphalt runway of 1677m length. There are no IFR approaches and departures as of now. However, according to online sources, Speyer should get an RNP approach early 2022.

When taking off from runway 34 in real life, you can see the Boeing 747 that is part of the Technik Museum Speyer. I haven't modeled it, but someone else did: https://flightsim.to/file/6417/speyer-technik-museum.

This scenery is very close to the real airport, but it's not an exact copy of it. Some things were just beyond my modeling and texturing skills, but I also don't have good reference material for all parts I modeled.
I added a construction site for one building of a flying school that is currently under construction in real life. I'd like to update it when the construction work is completed in real life, but it depends on access to good reference material - and obviously time and motivation to do so. There is also another hangar currently being built, close to the "Silvercloud Air" hanger. I will likely add that one as well as soon as it's done in real life.

I developed and use the scenery together with the standard ground ortho scenery coming with MSFS. If you use any other ortho scenery, the airport might be a bit off.
The majority of the buildings are customized with PBR textures, usually 4K, for smaller ones 2K. Night lighting exists, however, I used it very sparsely. I hope you enjoy the airport as much as I enjoyed creating it. Please keep in mind, it's freeware, don't expect FlyTampa quality.
