    Quick Reference/Checklist - Cessna 152 - Image 1

    Description

This PDF Document is a quick reference guide and checklist for the Asobo (default) Cessna 152.  To use, simply extract the PDF document and open on your preferred PDF reader or print.  It also makes for easy viewing on a tablet.

With the ability to quickly switch between many different aircraft types that MSFS gives us, it can be difficult to remember things like V speeds and procedures for all the different models.  This guide gives you a document you can reference to easily conduct a quick familiarization with the aircraft before you takeoff, and reference during flight - as well as a checklist that is specific to MSFS.

The second page (after the cover sheet) is a quick reference guide with limitations (such as V speeds) that are important for the aircraft's operation, and general data that is useful to pilots such as service ceiling, engine power, fuel capacity, average fuel burn, endurance, etc.

The third and fourth pages have a normal checklist and quick reference normal procedures.  These checklists and procedures have been pulled from the actual aircraft manual, but tailored specifically for flight simulator (leaving off things you don't need to do in MSFS, like fastening your seat belt,) and reorganized into a logical flow.  These pages can be printed off, if desired, to make a physical checklist.  All ground procedures are on the first side, with in-flight procedures on the second side - which is the way many flight schools and professional flight companies (such as airlines) organize their checklists.

The pages following have optional procedures (for MSFS, such as engine an engine runup,)  a maneuvers guide, listing all the maneuvers you would expect during a certification ride or checkout on the aircraft, and the last pages contain emergency procedures that are applicable to MSFS.

All checklists and procedures are based on real world operaitonal procedures for the aircraft, but have been modified to exclude procedures that cannot be accomplished in MSFS (e.g. seatbelts, closing doors, etc.) and reorganized for a better flow.

Version 3.0 has been reformatted with Tables to be more realistic and easier to read.

Make sure to check out my YouTube channel, Alpha Hotel Flight Simulator Training: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOQYNjJSAxY61JkFbh_ldrw

I created a series of videos covering basic private pilot level skills, as well as going in depth on some of the avionics in the game, among other things.  Moving forward, I will be conducting "checkout" videos on many of the GA aircraft in the game.  As I do so, I will create and post a quick reference guide/checklist for that aircraft on this site.

X2. The uploaded checklist corresponds to the C172 Classic. I hope that the autor can fix the correct checklist for C152.
