Description
RAF Wyton has been a military airfield since 1916, when it was used for training by the Royal Flying Corps.
During the Second World War it was used primarily as a bomber base, flying Bristol Blenheim, de Havilland Mosquito and Avro Lancaster aircraft. In 1942 it became the home of the Pathfinder Force under the command of Group Captain Don Bennett.
After the war Wyton became home to the English Electric Canberras of the Strategic Reconnaissance Force.
In May 1995 both RAF Wyton and RAF Alconbury airfields were decommissioned and Wyton was formally amalgamated with RAF Brampton, and later with RAF Henlow to make all three locations a single RAF Station under a single station commander for administrative purposes. The airfield continued to host light aircraft for the Cambridge and London University Air Squadrons until they both moved to RAF Wittering in 2015.
Following the 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review the RAF Brampton Wyton Henlow formation was disbanded: RAF Henlow subsequently became a separate station again and RAF Brampton was demolished.
The Joint Forces Intelligence Group, a unit which is responsible for the collection of signals, geospatial, imagery and measurement and signature intelligence, moved from Feltham in Middlesex to RAF Wyton in 2013. No. 1 Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Squadron moved from RAF Marham to Wyton in April 2017.

Try going through the standard trouble shooting. Remove all from Community folder, then add back one at a time till you find the culprit. Works fine in my PC and no one else has complained.

I installed the airfield yesterday, and I have everything that is in your list of library links. The large buildings with the ridged roofs are not showing, behind the fire trucks and tower. I have your Wittering and that's fine. Would appreciate any help.

Check that you have Marham installed correctly.

Marham is installed, and looks fine. Comparing with the screenshots on the Marham page everything looks ok.

reference the missing buildings (Wyton) in my scenery, I've just checked your Church Fenton, it looks great, everything there.

Regarding Marham, Nick had to remove the original hangars, and so he has re-released it with different ones. People will only see the hangars you feature if they have Nick's original release.

Thank you.

love what you are doing with the RAF bases but could you include or put in a separate file for static aircraft like the Canberra and gr3 for a 1970s look
keep up the great work.

I would prefer to do that, but copyright issues prevent it.

As someone once said, Bottocks - neither one thing nor the other!
You've shown the main runway as closed, which is correct as far as it goes, but makes it pretty unrealistic if you're going to use it for flight ops, while on the other hand it's missing the 7,500 cars that someone has parked all over the runway and taxiways!
Perhaps a Mk 2 version for us non-purists, but which allowed us to use the runways might be a good idea(?)
("Bottocks", an amalgum of Bollocks and Buttocks - neither one thing nor the other!)
This is not meant as criticism, but rather as a discussion point, so just ignore it if you wish.

A painted cross will not prevent you taking off, or landing. Asobo has it graded as closed, so the yellow crosses get put in automatically.
