This scenery represents the USN Naval Air Station Wake Island, located on Wake Island. It is depicted in the state before the famous battle of Wake Island in 1941 and the subsequent invasion by the Imperial Japanese Navy.

if i have time to update them some day, it's now possible with the new SDK. next update i will add some spawn spots. but not date yet.

This is so awesome! I've actually been to the real Wake Island while serving in the USAF as a KC-135 crew chief. We had stopped there and stayed a few days. Very beautiful tiny island in the middle of a huge ocean! This scenery is beautiful and reminds me of my time there!

Excellent scene with which I encounter however a small problem. The wake of the ships only appears in the form of a checkerboard. I think I must be missing a texture or a library.

I have tried 3 times, to put the scenery file, in the Community folder, but it never shows up, what am I doing wrong?

Unzipping the main file will create a new folder titled "Johnnypropeller-WW2 NAS Wake Island".
Open that folder and you'll see 2 subfolders that both begin with "skds-"... And move those two subfolders to your Community folder, and you should be all set.

These are the best PTO WWII airfield depictions I've ever seen. Well done! If you have the inclination, there are so many more candidates such as Henderson Field, Munda, Espiritu Santo, in the Solomons. Would be great fun in the Corsair or ported SBD.
