The H125 is one of the most popular aircraft Airbus Helicopters produces. It was used by many different police departments and government agencies across the world. The H125 also acts as a popular VIP transport helicopter. The H125 has been in production since 1975 with its first flight on June 27, 1974. As of 2019, there have been 3,590 H125 that have rolled off the production line.
Powered by a Safran Arriel 2D engine, the Airbus H125 is capable of operating at hot conditions and high altitudes. Such high altitudes, in fact, that it broke records in 2005 by landing on the 29,029 ft peak of Mount Everest.
