Quatam River logging camp in British Columbia (CQRA)
NOTAM please use the updated smoke effects library from here https://flightsim.to/file/21769/pbk-effects-library and remove any old versions of it.
v2.0 SU10 and WU11 elevation changes corrected and the strip has been tweaked in places.
v1.2 is a minor update to correct a fence height
v1.1 update to rectify a corrupt texture file that got into the scenery pack. Also note changes to the effects library. Please remove the pbk_effects (note underscore in the name) library and replace it with the pbk-effects library available on Fligthsim.to
An 1800' dirt strip with a beautiful approach over the water into the logging camp. This scenery was a firm favourite of mine in X-Plane so here it is for MSFS. In addition to the dirt strip there is a dock and pier added for visitors with seaplanes and amphibians
The strip is also used for STOL competitions and the 1st 100 metres has cones set out at 10m intervals so you can practise your short landings.
Included in the download is a small effects library which can be included in the community folder if you want the full effects of the scenery pack in addition to the animations I've included in the custom models
A few objects from the Dave's library have also been used to bring the strip to life.

Thanks for this nice little bush strip. There is a problem with the runway however. The small rocks seems to have a huge impact to - at least - two planes. The Blackbird PC-6 and Carenado 170B cannot taxi nor properly land there due to these rocks throwing the planes around and getting them stuck.

Does this scenery work after the new World Update for New Zealand? I tried this and while is shows in the airport menu, my sim hangs when I try to launch.

Sorry I had some sort of weird thing going on and my plane would spawn upside down, after a complete reinstall and adding of Quantam River everything is working fine now thanks.

Wu11 broke most things in Canada... I uninstalled it, (reverted to pre-wu11 to fix the mess... (You previous version works for pre-wu11.. so will stick with that version and won't update the scenery to match the terrain wu11 cause it is a diaster.

It isn't the greatest world update tbh but any further MS updates are less likely to change the elevation data and focus on photogrammetry which is garbage. If you see a large red roofed building there that will be from the SU10 update and I would recommend you update the mod anyway, you shouldn't see an significant changes.

damn you've got good eyes. That fence is about 3-4cm too high in places ! :)
