Description
Fictional DC-6 repaint of a real-world historical paint scheme worn by the Canadair North Star in the RCAF during the 1960s.
To install, unzip and extract into your MSFS 'Community' > 'pmdg-aircraft-dc6-liveries' folder.
If you are unable to view the aircraft in the UI, MSFS Layout Generator may be required to re-generate the layout.json file.

If this is the case, place the 'MSFSLayoutGenerator' app into the 'Community' > 'pmdg-aircraft-dc6-liveries' root folder, drag and drop the 'layout' file into the 'MSFSLayoutGenerator' app icon. The process will be automatic. Attempt to now reload the aircraft in MSFS.

Since the last PMDG DC6 update, your livery doesn't work anymore and it's really annoying. Do you think you can fix it ? Thanks

Unzipping the FILE will result in the following three files ( SimObjects + layout.json∔ manifest.json ). If you configure the File as follows, the aircraft will be displayed. Create a holder with an appropriate name. (Example: PMDG_DC6B_RCAF-17518) Put the three unzipped files ( SimObjects + layout.json∔ manifest.json ) in this folder. A holder with an appropriate name. (Example: PMDG_DC6B_RCAF-17518) Enter the FSMS Community.

May be fictional to you, but the very first plane I flew in at 13 yo as an RC Air Cadet was a 412 Sqn Northstar. It was winter and we flew around Ottawa and out to Cornwall, my home town. Thank you for the memories.
