Buffalo Livery (fictional)
This is a buffalo livery for the (Payware) PMDG DC-6.
This is my own creation, inspired by the Buffalo livery on their DC-4.
Download:
The main file contains the 8K version
There is a seperate file with the 4K version, which is a bit more fps friendly
It's not possible to use both livery versions simultaniously!
Installation:
Simply copy (or extract) the "PMDG_DC6_Livery_BFL" folder in your community folder.
Updated to 1.1a
- Set isAirTraffic=0 to avoid CTD
Updated to 1.1
- 4K and 8K
- Minor tweaks in the paint
- Tweaked COMP files to match the metal and paint more
- Changed placement of the registration to match the DC-4 more
- Changed tailnumber to be more in line with the BFL DC-4's
- Added the black nose gear and belly
- Added logo and registration underneath the wing
- Painted the horizontal stabilizer

How can I tell whether it's the 4k or 8k version? I only have 1 file

Please change your aircraft.cfg to set isAirTraffic to 0 instead of 1. PMDG has confirmed setting this to 1 and allowing the sim to created AI versions of the DC-6 will crash the sim as it loads multiple full versions of the DC-6.

Any chance that line above the upper right side of the pilot's window can be straightened out? Otherwise, the livery looks great!

I tried to fix it with the new update, unfortunately it seems the bump is modelled, so I can't really get rid of it. The lines however do connect better in this version.
