I have updated this to include a version that is the airfield on a "normal" day without the fly-in aircraft, crowds, gazebo's etc
In the pack you have 2 versions, just use the one that suits:
- Old_Warden - the version with the festival
- Old_Warden_normal - the version without the festival
be sure to use the latest versions of the libraries below to see all the scenery
This is a model of Old Warden in the UK.
Its a small grass airfield that is the home of the Shuttleworth collection - a fine working collection of Edwardian to 1930's aircraft which are regularly flown at airshows.

There is a custom control tower and a photogrametry stately home ( at least its better than the office block that was there )
In this pack we are at the start of an open day, cars and people are arriving, trade stands and visiting aircraft are around the field. As with a open day in the real world, none of the parking ramps are available during an open day so you will either have to fly in or start on the runway.
You will need the following asset packs installed in your community folder for this pack to work.

Shuttleworth is a regular for us too, although they seem to have had a post-covid hike to the prices !

Glad you spotted the person on the roof, who knows why they are there, there are so many reasons for people to complain these days ! There is another person sat on a roof edge waiting to be rescued ( or arrested ) , there is also a child stood on a plane wing.

I have completed the "non airshow" version, it is now included in the download, just put whichever folder suits you in your community folder

This must have been a great piece of work when it came out.. Unfortunately though, some issues have come up, probably due to Sim Update 12: the two Sopwith Camels are now in a very weird bright metallic white and blue color scheme, while a Spitfire is sitting on some glider parts. Also, there's an invisible aircraft with only its wire brace thingies showing (I don't know what they're called, but they're little metal things hanging in the air).

Hi Ian, thanks for the feedback. I will look at those errors. They seem to relate to 3rd party library models so I might see if I can find my own models to fix the problem.

Enjoying your scenary and I use it for controlling on VATSIM, so looking forward to the custom control tower.
Is it possible to ahve a version or can you advise how to remove the ASOBO aircraft as they show up on the little nav map screen I use as actual aircraft and confuse things

Sorry but i dont understand about the asobo aircraft comment, are their aircraft you want removing ? if you could screenshot and let me know which ones i will also remove those

what would be cool is two versions one version as it is now as an airshow or event day is in progress and another with everything pack away and just the airport a bit like the lundy island airport someone made
