Absolutely incredible Work! For an Freeware Aiport it is undescribably detailed and you are able to see that you put extremely much love and effort in it! This could almost be payware. What i love the most is, that you don't have to download like 10 libraries for it to work and look good. One of the best Airports i've ever downloaded!

Congratulations, you landed well with the PIAGGIO!!
I tried the AIRBUS A320Neo, A321LR, and A330-200, and none of them intercepted the ILS descent. Unfortunately, on the same route, and by deactivating the airport scenery and leaving only the cranes, the ILS approach started working again. There must be a bug with the Airbus.
It doesn't matter about the ILS, I've decided to keep your airport, it's very well-maintained.

Okay, I'll try those again to see if I can figure it out, even though I can't find an explanation. Default planes or third partie versions?
My scenery doesn't contain ILS or instructions for removing the default one. Have you tried other type of aircraft if the problem persists?

Have you also tried an empty community folder with only my scenery installed? At least let's check there isn't some weird conflict with something you have.

There are 4 folders in the community folder: 2 are yours and 2 are FSLTL (fsltl-traffic-base, fsltl-traffic-injector). The liveries are the default ones for the A321LR and A330, but for the A320Neo I used the ITA AIRWAYS livery, purchased from the MSFS 2024 marketplace.
I use AddonsLinker 2024. I don't understand why, on the same route, if I disable the airport, the ILS works.
    Something's obviously broken.
I live in Liguria and Genoa airport is my home, so it's my favorite destination and I'm getting used to landing without ILS.

My approach is off-axis, the cranes are intimidating, and ILS is down, but the airport is beautiful.

ILS/RNAV Approach must be off-track precisely because of the cranes :-) It is the peculiarity that makes this approach beautiful.

Anyway, I just tried but I doesn't reproduce the problem.
    Which A320 is that?
    Default or Navigraph AIRAC?

My Test: Default AIRAC, P180 Avanti (faster to start and prepare than the 320), MSFS 2024, Strong Wind :-D

As you can see when I switch from FMS to LOC, it successfully locked onto the ILS signal and tracked it correctly. Try to check that it automatically tunes the correct ILS frequency (109.30)

Hi, congratulations! It's very nice and detailed.
I'm using MSFS 2024 and I found that with 'simog-limj-airport' the 'ILS approach' functionality is lost, so the 'LOC button' and 'APPR button' are useless.
No problem, you can still land :)
With the harbor cranes 'simog-genovaharbor', however, the 'ILS approach' is fine.
    Still, excellent work. Thank you.

Very strange. There is no custom ILS in my scenery. I have to investigate. Many Thanks.

Great to see LIMJ in MSFS 2024 too, thank you!

Excuse me, I’m currently using the 2020 version. After removing the old files, I extracted the updated ones and placed the two included files into the Community folder. However, when I launched the game, the mod didn’t seem to take effect. Would you happen to know what might be causing this? Could it be something I did incorrectly during the installation process?
Also, I truly appreciate your scenery—it’s absolutely stunning!

Make sure you've downloaded the 2020 version. There are two Download buttons on the page. If you used the larger one, you've downloaded the 2024 version, which isn't incompatible with 2020.

I can't think of any other causes right now. Maybe try clearing the simulator's various caches.

There is an issue with GSX and the scenery jetways whereby they disappear when requested. It is a similar issue with FlightBeam's NZAA and a known bug with MSFS 24. Are you able to disable the helipad/heliports, so that the jetways work properly with GSX? Thanks

Thanks for the info. Yes, removing them wouldn't be a problem, but I'd prefer not to, hoping the GSX team fixes the problem in a short time. This is to avoid having a lame scenary (and as a simmer who often uses helicopters... :-D )

Anyway, I'll evaluate what to do.

I think its an MSFS bug rather than GSX. But still it would be great to have an optional .bgl that removes the helipad. Thanks anyway :)
