Each time they talk to us they seem like it's very close, as that's holding back their paintkit for the public. So truthfully idk. Hoping soonish.

So, that's an abuse of the rating system. It's pointing out a personal preference for the time period in which these were in service (from midlife to now) and intentionally giving a poorer rating to try and force the creator to change their addon for your personal need.

You didn't ask if I could, you didn't ask why. You immediately rated it lower and tried to use your opinion and personal request as leverage. This is a widespread problem amongst popular creators on the site.

The reason why these included DLH's website is fairly simple, they all represent an airframe in the middle of their life when all branding is visible and present. Changing them around would require more than just adding the website. It's weathering because the airframe is now older, it's desaturating the paint to give it a more worn appearance.

To reduce the file size for you all (because storage is at a premium) these paints use a "common" folder. Common elements like the engines, wing textures, middle bits of the fuselage, etc all use the same file to reduce file size. If they didn't this package would be over twice as large in file size as it is now. If we add weathering to just one, then it will suddenly need weathered engines to match, and all of them will get it and fundamentally completely change the addon for one person's preference. Which simply put is not fair.

It's not just "oh I don't like these websites there" you're asking to fundamentally change the entire file. And if it doesn't happen the way I described, the next person will come along and say "hey you know the grey on the belly is faded now right? It should be faded. 4*" and the cycle continues.

I don't have to do these. I don't have to release a bunch of paints immediately after the A340-600 released even though I'm one of two people who has the official paintkit. This doesn't have to be on this site.

Except it's an abuse of the rating system, and the site owners have agreed with that. So you are incorrect here. It's akin to saying "I don't like Lufthansa, 4*". I and other creators are not a livery printer. We do this out of the kindness of our hearts, and to hear the same old "hey do this" multiple times over from multiple different people is exhausting, especially when very few are thankful in the first place. It is full stop begging, and trying to force change based on personal preference (not by error) by using the review system. Anyways, this has been talked about to death. I have a comment above this one that explains it.
