Welcome to the Freeware 650/700 project!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is what you can expect from the aircraft:
Reliable Flight Ops:
The aircraft is 100% flyable from Point A to Point B. You can expect a stable flight model that gets you across the globe without game-breaking issues.
Functional Autopilot:
The AP is fully integrated for standard flight phases. While it has some limitations in specific specialized areas, it is more than capable of handling your climbs, cruises, descents and landings.
Autothrottle Support:
The aircraft does feature Autothrottle, but please note that it must be engaged using a custom keybind - check keybinds-required.
Custom Keybinds:
To operate certain features, you will need to utilize custom keybinds. Due to current development limitations, some interactions cannot be done via the cockpit clickspots yet.
Custom Animations:
We have implemented custom-coded animations throughout the exterior and interior, including:
- Primary flight controls (Ailerons, Rudder, Elevators)
- Spoilers / Speedbrakes
- Landing Gear
- Main Cabin Door
- Thrust Reversers
Avionics:
We are currently utilizing placeholder Garmin G5000 avionics with:
- Direct Simbrief Route Import
( requires plugin from navigraph hub)
- VSpeeds
(Need to added manually into the Garmin Touch Controller)
Note:
Custom, true-to-life Gulfstream avionics are a long-term goal. We are waiting for the right developer to join the team or for open-source components to become available later in the development cycle.
To keep things realistic, please keep in mind that this is a community freeware project that was once abandonded, As such, do not expect the following:
Product Complexity:
This is not a high-fidelity, "study-level" simulation, it is far from that, It is designed for accessibility and fun only.
Advanced AP Modes:
While the basic Autopilot works (LNAV, VNAV, APPR, VS, HDG, FLC etc..), some advanced vertical or lateral modes are missing and will require manual pilot intervention.
Flight Model Accuracy:
The flight model is not 1:1 accurate to a real G650 or G700. While it resembles the general performance characteristics, it is a work in progress. Known Issue: Expect a significantly longer takeoff roll than the real-world counterpart. This is a known limitation we are looking to address in future updates.
Fully Functional Cockpit:
Roughly 80% of the switches and buttons are currently for visual detail only or are not yet modeled. If it doesn't click, it likely isn't simulated.
Custom Audio:
Do not expect a bespoke soundscape. The aircraft currently utilizes default Longitude sounds.
Interior Accuracy:
The cabin layout is not 1:1 with the real-world G650 or G700 at this time, there is a slighty different cabin layout between the G650 and G700.
Paintkit:
There is no official paintkit included with the initial release, althought there is a blank livery to paint with.
Honerable Mentions:
Ian: (the original project creator) for allowing me to release his project into the open to gain awareness of the current state it is in to a much much broader audience so hopefully they can see and colleraberate and make the project better for everyone.

Curious if you had any way to port in the Citation Longitutde cockpit for this plane? No offense to the work you put forward but the missing features could perhaps be remedied by a rather preset flight deck.
Is there any progress or plans to develop the flight deck features any further? Spoilers, flaps and what not?

The only bugs are that the callouts and other warnings only sound when im in external view, the G5000 will skip waypoints in an airway so if you are using simbrief you must first use little navmap to re-export your route as DCT waypoints only, and that the speed bugs show the same vRefs regardless of weight. The known issue re: slow rotation/takeoff issue can be mitigated somewhat by setting nose up trim before takeoff. An autobrake would be nice.

It holds the LNAV and Altitude well, even at 2x and 4x sim rate.
It holds the ILS well
A Heads Up Display would be amazing.
Also, a manual.
The titles in aircraft.cfg need to be more descriptive ie. "Gulfstream G700 N700LE" rather than just "N700LE" for this to be identified properly in FsHub and LRM.
