I already have two buttons on my throttle for differential wheel braking, but they're only on/off buttons. My braking was still a mess and I don't want to use my rudder pedals. I was skeptical at first, but SoftBrake is my new best friend. Braking action is progressive and smooth. Small bit of money well spent.

It's not bad, but there are still a few bugs. For example, it doesn't work properly after landing with the PMDG 772. Occasionally, you have to apply the brakes as hard as possible to release them. This helps, but it's clear that it's not fully native to MSFS 2024.

Superb addon for player like me using controller and hate default key-pressing brakes since braking axis bug on controllers. Some minor issues need to be investigated from my point of view: 1. On PMDG 777s, elevator axis detection is a bit weird after landing, which shows approximate -0.22 when control surface is neutral, whether flaps is still extended or fully retracted, only after landing. This cause some inconvenient adjust when flying 777s and between other aircraft. 2. Brakes still getting stuck sometimes after braking. It needs a short full braking action to free the brakes, or it will stays on and stop the plane. Other than that, this is truly amazing tool. Keep it up!

Today I purchased Soft Brake for MSFS2020. The standard braking in MSFS is simply on or off, so reducing the speed smoothly (from 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1,5-1- 0,5 KN) while approaching the gate is not possible. But with Soft brake I parked my aircraft smoothly (and realistically ! ) like never before. Highly recommendded!

Simple application that allows for smoother braking application. Setup was easy, just put in the Addons folder, launch MSFS and enter the license. Only issue is sometimes the brakes do not release when releasing the elevator input stick when using A32NX

I use a a pretty simple setup and always used the trigger for brakes on my TCA sidestick. This is an incredibly valuable tool. I now have smooth braking with the Fenix airbus which was impossible before. I especially love being able to calibrate exactly how I want it. Thank you!

This feature’s really cool, I found it super useful on the Fenix A320. Would be awesome if there was a custom analog input assignment option built into the app so it wouldn’t mess with the Y elevator axis anymore. For now, 3 stars until the next improvement.

Nice Program. Sometimes it don´t works well on my Fenix A320. The brakes block and it´s difficult to unblock it. If that will be improved, i´d give more stars.

Too much stick travel is required to start the application of the brakes, then it comes on too fast and the plane screeches to a halt. Then they don't fully release when the stick is returned to neutral. C-172 and DC-6 so far.

I only give two stars until the program is improved. If it is improved, I will give more. at the moment the program is unusable, the brake blocks and the plane stops, which forces the use of the brake from under the button. so crap....

Interesting concept. However, after centering elevator axis, there's a residual brake application left, which makes taxi harder or even impossible. Will revise this when the issue is fixed.
