Fun. It can be difficult to fly and will definitely get away from you at higher speeds and altitudes. Watch you're stall speeds indicator. It's not a Concorde. It's like a P-51 that can go way greater than stratospheric. The glass cockpit helps where steam gauges would fail for navigation. The 2+ hour video I saw on you. .tube (2:25:58 "Tuesday Lesson Quasar by Flying Fries")was what got me excited initially. I think it's worth the purchase price. I played with it for an afternoon before I did KEDW-RJBB at Mach 7+ stick handling the whole flight and it was a challenge. I'd wishlist an autopilot that can handle a cruise altitude of 130,000ft. and speeds of 4000km/hr. It's missing feature is "Nearest Airport" in the glass cockpit. It's blank. You have to type in the ICAO and then that (FMS GPS) will work for navigation laying out a magenta line on the screens. There's no VNAV or sort (*update* there is but it failed me. buggy?) but you can stick fly RNAV and ILS glideslopes and you'll get TOD inidications. APRoach mode works. You can control Vertical Speed descents so that helps but it's only good below 40-45k feet. Anywhere higher or faster than M2.0 and it's all up to you. The Autopilot panel is all white light with white font and can be difficult to see at certain times where ambient lighting isn't optimal. I wishlist green indication lights, white lettering for the buttons. As for future versions; it'd be a blast to see hover modes, VTOL (because it needs 390kts for liftoff and not a penny less), space flight mode when there's no atmosphere, a cockpit light above head so you can see the buttons and switches in the dark (I never tried CTRL+F for the head's flashlight option (VR mode is so way more fun)).. Last but not least, thanks for putting out a model that fills a void. It's great fun to try this craft and I didn't waste money and feel it's a totally affordable purchase. I prefer it over the Darkstar. I prefer 2024 over 2020 (mostly). Thanks. (everyone else, buy it. it's worth the money and it will hopefully bring a more refined craft)

Great model. A little hard to control with xbox controller. Had to find the manual but that wasn't hard. Once the kinks are out and updated model would then rate a 5. I am definately glad I purchased this model. Highly recommend.

A real beast! What seems like an arcade toy at first plance turns out to be a real challenge! That challenge is mastering multi-mach flight at altitudes above 50.000 ft (way above!). Once you reach Mach 2, don‘t consider this a plane anymore. Consider it a flying bullet! Better to be precisely on course before reaching top speed, because control becomes very, very difficult. At high speed, the AP does not help anymore. The only way to control the Quasar is with elevator trim and differential thrust (engines 1 and 4 are obviously most effective for this). Mastering a full flight and achieving a decent landing is a very fulfilling experience! Finally I have a plane that takes me quickly from continent to continent, for those days when I need a drastic change of scenery… Well done, Lord Frites!
