Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport (OLBA) is Lebanon's main international gateway and the home base of Middle East Airlines. It sits on the Mediterranean coast just south of the capital. Mountains rise steeply to the east, and the city spreads out along the shoreline to the north. This makes the area an interesting place to fly, whether you follow an airliner approach over the sea or explore the coast under visual flight rules.

Lebor Simulations has now released 🔆 OLBA/Beirut for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The package is a rebuild of the developer's earlier project, reworked for the newer simulator. It covers both the airport and selected landmarks in Beirut city.

The scenery recreates Rafic Hariri International Airport for use in airline operations. You can start or end an IFR flight here with an airport environment that reflects the real layout. Because the package also includes landmarks in the surrounding city, the area is not limited to the airfield boundary, which suits low-level sightseeing flights along the coast.

The combination of airport and city is aimed at two groups of pilots. If you prefer commercial flying, you can use OLBA as a departure or arrival point for regional and long-haul routes. If you prefer VFR flying, the Beirut landmarks give you reference points for navigating the urban area and the coastline.

As a rebuild of an existing project, the scenery is designed for MSFS 2024 and not simply carried over from an earlier simulator version. You can find the scenery on Flightsim.to ➡️ OLBA/BEIRUT - Rafic Hariri International Airport & Beirut City (By Lebor Simulations for MSFS 2024).
