Cleveland's lakefront skyline and its compact downtown airport have long offered a distinctive flying experience along the shores of Lake Erie. Developer Dfflyer Direct has now released a bundle that pairs two of its existing add-ons into a single package: 🔆 Cleveland City & Bridges and 🔆 KBKL - Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport. Sold together, the two products come with a 20% discount compared to buying them separately. The bundle is built natively for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Your download includes separate files for each simulator version, and it's worth noting that these files are not cross-compatible, so you'll want to make sure you install the correct one for the platform you're using.
What's Included
At the heart of the bundle is Burke Lakefront Airport (KBKL), a small but busy airport sitting right on the edge of downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie. The scenery includes fully modelled interiors for all hangars, complete with animated doors, along with detailed interior work for the terminal building, the Signature Aviation FBO, and the control tower. Surface detail extends to custom runway, taxiway, and apron textures, including cracks, tire marks, and painted markings, paired with runway and taxiway lighting, apron floodlights, and illuminated signage for accurate night operations. Around the airfield you'll find aircraft monuments, landscaped paths, seating areas, detailed parking lots, access roads, fencing, and maintenance buildings.
Dfflyer Direct has also cleaned up surrounding water, tree, and marina areas to better match the real-world setting, and the scenery uses multiple levels of detail (LODs) to help maintain smooth performance. A custom GSX profile is included for those using the popular ground service add-on.
The second half of the bundle, 🔆 Cleveland City & Bridges, focuses on the downtown area surrounding the airport. More than 75 handcrafted buildings populate the skyline, including detailed renditions of Key Tower, Terminal Tower, and 200 Public Square. The Cuyahoga River, which winds through downtown Cleveland, is spanned by handcrafted bridges built to match their real-world counterparts. Sports fans flying through the area will also recognize detailed models of Progressive Field, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, and Huntington Bank Field, three of Cleveland's major venues.
Together, the two products give you a more cohesive picture of Cleveland from the air, pairing the detailed ground operations of Burke Lakefront Airport with the surrounding city it serves. The Cleveland City & KBKL Burke Lakefront Airport Bundle is available now for MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 on the 🔆 Flightsim.to Store.
