PMDG's 737 for Microsoft Flight Simulator has long been praised for its depth, down to the detailed Electronic Flight Bag built into the aircraft. Developer Lukeee18 has now released Remote EFB, a freeware utility that extends that same EFB experience beyond the cockpit, letting you control it from a tablet, phone, or second PC on your home network without installing anything on the receiving device.

Remote EFB works by tapping into the official PMDG 737 SDK, pulling live data directly from the aircraft and mirroring the look and functionality of PMDG's own EFB interface. The only setup required is enabling the SDK broadcast option in the PMDG 737, after which the tool becomes accessible to any device on your network through a browser, with no additional installation needed on the client side.

The range of functions packed into Remote EFB covers most of what pilots would normally handle through the in-sim EFB. Ground operations are fully supported, including chocks, GPU, jetway, air start, air conditioning, water, lavatory service, catering, cleaning, and the passenger bus. Door management comes with live graphics showing the current state of each door, alongside controls for cabin lighting.

For longer flights, an auto-cruise feature with time compression is included, useful for skipping ahead during the less eventful stretches of a flight. A live map ties everything together with weather radar overlay and SimBrief route display. GSX Pro users will also find full remote control support built in, alongside quick access to the aircraft's manuals for reference during flight.

You can download Remote EFB for PMDG 737 now on Flightsim.to ➡️ Remote EFB for PMDG 737. As with all freeware projects in the community, consider supporting Lukeee18 through a donation if you find the tool useful in your flights.
