Marsh Harbour International Airport (MYAM) sits at the heart of Great Abaco Island and serves as the primary gateway to the Abaco Islands chain in the northern Bahamas. As one of the busiest airports in the country, it handles a diverse mix of traffic — from scheduled regional airline services connecting to Nassau and Florida, to private jets, charter operations, and the kind of light single-engine island-hopping that defines Caribbean flying culture. The airport plays an essential role in the local economy and community, particularly following the devastating impact of Hurricane Dorian in 2019, which reshaped much of the region.

Astralis Studios has now brought this distinctive airport to Microsoft Flight Simulator in a detailed payware scenery package available for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. The studio has focused on delivering an authentic, faithful representation of the airport as it exists today, drawing on current real-world references to ensure the layout, structures, and surroundings reflect the genuine character of Marsh Harbour.

The scenery features custom-modeled versions of all major airport structures, including the passenger terminal, hangars, and the various support buildings that populate the airside and landside environments. One of the more notable aspects of this release is the inclusion of fully modeled interiors for three key facilities: the FBO building, the ATC tower, and the Cherokee Aviation hangar.

For virtual pilots who enjoy Caribbean and Bahamas flying — whether recreating real-world routes on services like Southern Air or Tropic Ocean Airways, flying a private aircraft across from Fort Lauderdale, or simply exploring the island chain under VFR — MYAM provides a well-crafted base of operations that does justice to a genuinely interesting and historically meaningful airport. Marsh Harbour International Airport by Astralis Studios is 🔗 available now on the Flightsim.to Store, compatible with both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
