Few vessels in maritime history have captured the human imagination quite like the Olympic-class ocean liners built by the White Star Line in the early twentieth century. The RMS Olympic, RMS Titanic, and HMHS Britannic represent one of the most ambitious shipbuilding programmes ever undertaken, and their stories — spanning peacetime luxury crossings, wartime hospital service, and tragic loss — remain deeply compelling more than a century later. Now, developer Marine RM has brought all three of these legendary ships to Microsoft Flight Simulator in a comprehensive package titled 👉 Titanic 2024 for MSFS, offering you the opportunity to sail these iconic vessels across the world's oceans in six distinct historical liveries.
The Titanic 2024 package covers the full arc of the Olympic-class story. The RMS Olympic is represented in two civilian configurations — its original white 1910 livery and its 1911 commercial service scheme — while the RMS Titanic appears in the commercial line livery it would have worn had its maiden voyage ended differently. The Britannic is modelled in both its planned commercial livery from 1914 and its more familiar HMHS hospital ship configuration from 1915. Rounding out the collection is the RMS Olympic in its wartime "Old Reliable" guise from 1918, when the ship served as a troopship during the First World War.

Despite their historical grandeur, these ships are fully operable within Microsoft Flight Simulator. A functional tug boat is included for port manoeuvres, and the bridge cabin features two laptops providing modern nautical autopilot and GPS systems. The package supports easy cold starts, night lighting, water trail effects, and improved navigation physics. Captain Smith and his crew are present on board, and passengers can be found at various locations throughout the ship.

Marine RM is transparent about the limitations of sailing in a flight simulator environment. Microsoft Flight Simulator does not model water drift with full realism, and navigation can be imprecise in certain conditions. The developer advises against sailing in wave conditions exceeding 30 knots to avoid capsizing, and notes that sinking physics, should they occur, will not behave dramatically or realistically due to simulator constraints.
Titanic 2024 by Marine RM is available now on Flightsim.to and is compatible with both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. You can find the add-on on the 🔗 Flightsim.to Store.
