rkApps has released 👉 FSRealistic+, a new payware immersion add-on developed specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The product represents a full rebuild of the long-running FSRealistic line, with a clear shift toward tighter simulator integration and more advanced audio and camera systems.

FSRealistic has traditionally focused on enhancing immersion through environmental sounds and camera effects rather than replacing aircraft systems or default audio. FSRealistic+ continues that philosophy but adapts it to the new simulator generation, taking advantage of MSFS 2024’s architecture and its in-sim panel system. At its core, FSRealistic+ introduces more than 37 individual effects designed to work together rather than stand out on their own. These effects aim to fill gaps in how flight conditions are perceived, such as subtle vibrations, directional audio cues, and movement feedback that are often missing even in detailed aircraft add-ons.

One of the major changes compared to earlier versions is the move to a native in-sim panel. FSRealistic+ runs directly inside Microsoft Flight Simulator instead of relying on an external application, which simplifies access and makes adjustments possible without leaving the cockpit.

Audio receives particular attention through a new 3D spatial sound system. Instead of basic stereo playback, sounds are positioned around the cockpit to better reflect their physical origin. Wind noise, ground roll, turbulence, touchdowns, and vibration effects are intended to feel directionally consistent with aircraft motion and environment. For you who prefer customization, FSRealistic+ also allows the use of custom sound files, opening the door to personalized or aircraft-specific sound profiles.

Camera behavior has also been expanded beyond earlier limitations. FSRealistic+ introduces movement on all axes, which allows for more natural pitch, roll, and lateral motion rather than primarily vertical camera shake.

The add-on requires ChasePlane, which is used to unlock its advanced camera functionality. ChasePlane integration is positioned as a core part of the experience rather than an optional enhancement. FSRealistic+ currently works only with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, requires an internet connection, and does not yet support VR.

Sorry, I'm not buying two products to make one product work, especially when I run the prior version.... Both should be included if one is dependent on the other

You need MSFS2024 to use the PMDG 737, or literally every other addon. So should all those addons come with a copy of MSFS, because you need two products to make one work.

It is cool I can get a discount on this product, but I find it really stupid, that you need to buy a 30 dollar addon called "Chase Plane" I would rather pirate the software because of that, unless its discounted or a new way to not have to buy a other addon that I barely will not use.

I think you can disable certain effects in the app so that certain movements wont interfere with head tracking. It seems to work with OpenTrack.
