Dfflyer Direct has released ➡️ Windsor International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. Windosor serves as the primary aviation gateway for the Canadian city of Windsor in Ontario. Located directly across the river from Detroit, the airport supports commercial traffic, general aviation activity, and cargo operations. Its position on the border gives it particular relevance for regional flyers who regularly transition between Canadian and U.S. airspace.

Dfflyer Direct provides two native versions in a single package. The add-on recreates the airport with custom terminals, hangars, ground textures, and Canadian-style runway markings. The work reflects the real-world layout through handmade buildings finished with PBR materials. Taxiways, signage, and night lighting have been rebuilt to offer a more accurate portrayal of the airfield. The interior and exterior perimeter fencing, the presence of the on-site solar farm, and the inclusion of construction areas around several hangars add contextual detail that aligns closely with the ongoing development at the airport. Ground vehicles, parking lots, and custom cars further enhance the sense of activity.

For those flying in the Detroit–Windsor region, this release pairs naturally with the developer’s existing ➡️ Detroit & Windsor City Pack, which covers more than 200 buildings across both cities. Combining the airport with that city enhancement allows you to approach CYQG through a more recognizable urban environment. Dfflyer Direct’s Windsor International Airport is ➡️ available now on the Flightsim.to Store.

I love the scenery for both the airport and windsor/detroit skyline. Bought both packages. Vey immersive with a keen eye for detail.Does the airport allow for AI traffic?

This looks nice Dan, and it makes me wish to ask you, would you do Burlington in Vermont?

Thanks Carlos! Honestly, probably not because I’ve found that buildings that are not tall do not translate very well for add-on scenery. Since you mostly view the top of them, the default photogrammetry/satellite imagery is actually quite hard to beat
