Yosemite Valley, located in California’s Yosemite National Park, is one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the United States. Known for its dramatic granite cliffs like El Capitan and Half Dome, and world-famous waterfalls such as Yosemite Falls and Bridalveil Fall, the valley attracts millions of visitors each year. For those flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator, it now offers a more immersive and visually rich experience thanks to the new ➡️ Yosemite Valley scenery add-on by Cli4D Designs.

Cli4D Designs' new release includes terrain and texture improvements to address issues commonly seen with default satellite imagery, such as overly dark shadow patches. Elevation and road textures have also been refined, although the developer notes that some limitations persist with terraforming, especially in areas using TIN data. Custom 3D models with PBR textures have been added for a number of key landmarks across the valley. Animated waterfalls and rivers contribute dynamic elements to the scenery, and each Point of Interest has been individually detailed to better reflect its real-world counterpart. Major sites covered in this package include Yosemite Falls, Glacier Point, Vernal Falls, Bridalveil Fall, Tunnel View, and the Yosemite Valley Chapel, among many others.

You can start your flight from multiple spawning points within the scenery, including a suggested location at Cascade Glade or from the nearby Mariposa-Yosemite Airport.  You can find the Yosemite Valley scenery by Cli4D Designs available for ➡️ purchase at Flightsim.to.

Pity no more MSFS2020 support. In the future I will not buy your add-ons anymore.I really don´t like it abandoning a still much better sim.MSFS2024 is still a mess.

Developing on both sim at the same time is not possible for a solo dev like me. 2020 will come but still in development.

Great choice of location! Couldn’t buy this one fast enough. I’ve been a fan since the freeware Manila Bay days. #supportgooddevs

Curious, isn’t it easier to make the project in 2020 first, since 2024 can open 2020 projects and convert them, but 2024 is not backwards-compatible?

maybe dont be such a hater and say things you’ll quickly regret…

Awesome! Thank you so much for the support!

I won’t. As long as you continue supporting me, I will continue making sceneries .

I bought this scenery, and it was not what the youtube features are showing on (my setup is ultra on all the graphic side) what my system is. SU2 still have issues with LOD, you have to get really close to the subject like the half dome and the waterfalls to check the details. I yet to see the waterfalls as they are not rendering when you launch the scenery whether I zoom in/out of the World map before launching it. Even the vehicle on the ground has a blurry detail, not like what i saw on these youtube features. I hope SU3 can fix this LOD or maybe someone on the beta can prove this.

Great addition to MSFS24. However the only issue I have is that there are trees in the middle of the scenery’s roads and buildings. I hope they fix the issue with the next update.

Looks great. One minor quibble is that the water isn’t blue, especially going over the various falls. It is mostly white.
My other issue is that there isn’t nearly enough traffic or people. It was mobbed when I was there last September. I’m joking….it is kind of nice seeing only minimal cars and people. Too bad real life isn’t the same.

Does it have/do the firefall waterfall effect?
