LivToAir has released its rendition of the ⭐ Cessna Citation CJ3+ for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, bringing this modern light business jet into the virtual skies. The Citation CJ3+ is part of Cessna’s widely respected Citation series, offering a balance of performance, comfort, and single-pilot capability. With a range of approximately 2,040 nautical miles and a seating capacity for up to nine passengers, the aircraft is particularly noted for its efficiency and strong short-field performance.

LivToAir has focused on delivering a realistic experience, particularly in terms of avionics and systems. The aircraft features the Garmin G3000 avionics suite, recreated through custom implementations of the WTG3000 and GTC. Additional enhancements include pages for initialization, exterior lights, temperature management, and takeoff and landing data. These systems aim to replicate the modern cockpit layout of the real CJ3+.

Flight model accuracy has been prioritized, along with custom Wwise sound design and fully implemented deicing systems with visible icing effects. The aircraft also includes eight liveries and a fully interactable cabin. You can make use of an integrated EFB that provides access to apps for managing aircraft weights, maps, notes, as well as Navigraph and SimBrief integration.

If you're interested in adding the Cessna Citation CJ3+ to your fleet, this payware add-on can now be obtained ⭐ on Flightsim.to.

I don’t get the point. Its a tiny variation on an aircraft we already have as default?

Some people just like something different even if it’s mostly the same as what the default aircraft are. Another example is Asobo’s Daher TBM 930, but Just Flight sells an older TBM 850 variant (pre-Garmin 3000 cockpit with dials). That said, I’d never be interested in this simply because I like the Honeywell avionics in the CJ4 for being different than the Garmins as well as that aircraft being a little faster than the CJ3+.

Default G3000 + default CJ4 sound which doesn’t represent the CJ3+ at allModeling is not the best at all. Specially on the engine. This thing is a no no

I can't understand why in 2025 'new aircraft' means adding an EFB in the cockpit…

I usually don’t post comments much at all but seeing these rediculous and uneducated comments actually really piss me off.
Don’t want the plane? Don’t buy it. Easy.
I did my first flight in this yesterday and it has a wonderful flight model, and unbelievable amount of detail in the cockpit, in the cabin AND the exterior. Load your simbrief and weights with one click in the EFB. This CJ3+ is nothing short of awesome and it’s very clear when you do a flight and explore the plane that a lot of work went into it.
You plebs complaining want a different plane why don't you make your own? To lazy? Not smart enough? Unwilling? Nobody is forcing you buy the plane but you keyboard cowboys love to sit here and shame a genuine developer that put a lot of work into their product for absolutely no reason.
    Great work LivToAir.
Don't let these silly comments get you down. It’s a wonderful product and congratulations on releasing it! Thank you for your time and hard work!

At least the TBM930 and the TBM850 have a different engine management system.

Sorry lad but you got ripped off. People are commenting because we are sending a message to developers, as their customers that we don’t want generic reskins of default aircraft. They openly state it uses the default WTG3000 as the basis. Its lazy. But I guess you must work for LivToAir lol.

What do you think is in the CJ3+?
    It’s literally the G3000 suite.
Everything works as it should including VNAV.
    “Generic reskin"….
You are sadly what’s wrong with the community.

Immediately having a blast flying this aircraft. Hand flying is a true joy.
    Thank you for the aircraft!

Congrats on yet another piss poor cash grab

People complaining towards a software developer about a trend from the real world. Planes are becoming more and more generic with everyone using the same avionics suite. This little plane stands out by its handflying „feeling“ and funny features in the cabin.Actually serving a „demand“ by the community that has been brought up again and again over the last years for a functioning toilet and working coffee spender 🤣.
If you want a challenge you need to look for older planes. Me personally I am dreaming of having a Convair 340 or Fairchild C-119 with a detail engine physics modelling like A2A or Blacksquare have done it.
But that has nothing to do with the purpose of this little Maschine here……fun „hand“ flying with some cabin joy.

great Little aircraft- There are great crew hops specials and to be honest it flies really well, stick flying is great. The lighting needs some work, the gigantic ball around the Beacon is a little uh oh,. but i’ve made a fix for this.
    great work!

It’s basically a CJ4 with a G3000 suite. If this is what you're looking for, like I am, check it out. The only disappointment for me is the interior textures. I think I prefer the Phenom 100, but I’ll give it a few more flights before I pass judgment.

"Don't want the plane, don't buy it"... Well, sir, if the plane hadn't been advertised as a revolutionary add-on, enthusiasts wouldn't have been misled into purchasing it. The fact of the matter is that it failed to meet our expectations. Period.

It's exactly as it was advertised. A CJ3+ with a G3000 suite. What were you expecting? Something mind blowing never seen in a simulator before?
    Get a grip brother. Lol
It met and exceeded my expectations because it’s what I expected.

Juvenile comments here. Goes back to same argument. Some think that every aircraft has to be study level. Even though most of the silly comments here are from those who will never fly a CJ3+ in real life. Its a simulation people. Not real life and it was never intended to be.

Phenom is smaller, very high cockpit and bad visibility in VR (like Honda). This one is almost as good visibility in VR as Vision Jet is :)

msfs2020 and 2024 are full of cash grabs…sadly.

This plane is very good; I think it's much better than the CJ4. But has anyone ever experienced the "cabin pressure" alarm going off above 10,000 feet? And it's quite annoying.

I would have preferred an older CJ like a straight CJ or CJ1 with a mix of steam and glass

    I completely agree with you

the avionic indeed put me off. still prefer proline 21 avionic

Not to mention everyone is apparently an armchair expert in everything aviation…. By the comments left here, I guess it is safe to say that a 1972 C172 is the same as a 2019 C206T because it looks similar. Every day the phrase “You can’t fix stupid” becomes more prevelant on the internet.

This plane is really good, but some bugs still need to be addressed. In particular, the cabin pressure warning remains active, which is quite annoying. and some mouse rolling clics noises, but I’m sure the developper are going to improve this.

The standard CJ4 flies better than this trash of a product. And the CJ4 comes with the game.
If this plane was free, it would have still been a bad deal. Even planes in Grand Theft Auto have a better flight model.
    30$ for this shit?

Handflying, yeah. This plane eats the same amount of fuel at fl250 as it does at 450.

I don’t understand defending bad products like these. They literally make everything worse for everyone. Instead of money going to proper plane developers, they go to trash shovelers like livtoair.
    Why reward trash like this?

Imagine praising one of the worst airplane releases of 2024.

He’s right, the plane is trash and the flight model is one of the worst a payware plane has had in years.
If you enjoy eating out of the dumpster, don’t get mad when people call you a hobo.

Flew this “revolutionary” plane and … it really is revolutionary.
It’s the first plane that eats the same amount of fuel at fl250 as it does at fl450.
In case it wasn’t obvious: DO NOT BUY THIS. PURE MONEYGRAB.
