FlightSim Studio AG has released their Boeing 727-200 Passenger variant for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This release follows their previously available freighter version of the same aircraft. The B727-200 Passenger edition was released on April 17th, 2025. Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace users will need to wait longer, as that platform’s release is scheduled approximately 2-3 months after the initial launch, according to the developer’s announcement. The aircraft is currently optimized for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, while a version compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is reportedly under development. You can purchase the B727-200 Passenger ⭐ here on Flightsim.to.

Owners of the 727-200 Freighter version qualify for a 20% discount when purchasing this new passenger variant, with the discount automatically applied during checkout at supported retailers. However, FlightSim Studio AG notes that this special pricing will not be available through the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace when the product eventually launches there. The passenger edition is a standalone product and does not require prior ownership of the freighter version to function.

    Aircraft Features

The Boeing 727-200 Passenger variant includes several features. The exterior model features textured surfaces using PBR (Physically Based Rendering) technology. The aircraft includes animations that represent typical passenger operations. The package includes over 20 airline liveries representing various operators such as Lufthansa, PanAm, Alitalia, American Airlines, Air Canada, Olympic, Iberia, Southwest, United Airlines, ANA, and British Airways (Comair). Unlike the freighter variant, this version includes a passenger cabin with both business and economy class seating. The interior features cabin lighting that can be adjusted manually or through simulated cabin crew actions based on flight phase. The cabin experience includes crew announcements triggered at various points during the flight.

    Technical Specifications

FlightSim Studio lists the following system requirements for the Boeing 727-200 Passenger:

    Compatibility

The aircraft is currently designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The developer reports that they are preparing an MSFS 2024-compatible version, which will be provided as a free update to existing customers. According to FlightSim Studio, this initial compatibility update will not include new simulator features, but a separate native MSFS 2024 version is planned for future development. Ist die Systemanforderung für ein Standbild oder wie soll man das verstehen? Selbst der Sim läuft auf dieser Hardware nicht mal ohne wie in Minecraft auszusehen…

House livery isn't accurate, but of course that’s just a minor nitpick. I love it!
