Fenix Simulations has released a significant update for its A320 series. This update introduces initial compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 while improving performance and adding new features to enhance realism. The developers have rebuilt the aircraft package with the MSFS 2024 Software Development Kit (SDK), incorporating new features and making use of the platform's latest capabilities. However, Fenix Simulations emphasizes that this compatibility is experimental. The team has not yet updated product descriptions or support systems to reflect MSFS 2024 integration, citing concerns about the stability of the new simulator. Pilots are advised to report their experiences in community forums rather than through customer support channels for now.

The update version 2.3.0.524, includes changes that apply to both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. Among the highlights are improved fly-by-wire (FBW) control, optimized system performance, and a revamped air mass and cabin temperature simulation. Experimental support for a 4x simulation rate has also been added. Specific advancements in cabin environmental control now dynamically account for passenger-generated heat, aircraft skin insulation, and external temperatures. Additionally, the update introduces new visual and mechanical features, such as working windshield wipers for MSFS 2024 users and improved glass material effects. The update also improves existing systems, including more accurate fuel flow predictions and better handling of managed speed on specific configurations. Avionics, flight models, and environmental systems have been further refined based on user feedback.

While the update adds significant functionality, it also comes with some known issues, particularly for MSFS 2024. Users may encounter dim aircraft lighting during daytime, occasional sound drops, and missing liveries’ thumbnails, among other problems. These issues, largely tied to the new simulator, are expected to be addressed in future patches.

This update is available now through the Fenix Installer, and all existing customers can download it free of charge. If you're looking to purchase the Fenix A320 series, it is available directly from their official store.

Everytime I try to take off (from Cold and Dark), at the very moment I start rotating, the aircraft crashes... If I take off from "Ready" status, no problem.

Really? The Weather Girls' 'It's Raining Men'— Someone needs to think of another music intro. I'm surprised YouTube has not flagged it as a music copyright infringement.

I have an issue that is new for me (never had it with Fs2020): I can't pull/push the selectors. I can turn them as much as I want, but no way to push or pull... Any suggestion?

I'm having issues with the APU. I have the plane on external power and press the APU master switch and then start. Then it seems the APU never turns on and AVAIL never appears. Does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

Hello! After preparing my A320 Fenix (flight plan, Apu, pushback and engine start) my A320 is blocked, brakes deactivated and engines at full speed, it does not move forward. Can you help me solve this problem please?

no word on weather radar injection 🥴

In FS2020 that bug was a control bindings issue. The solution was to unbind everything and rebind it.

What the problem, its a world class tune!

Yes, but it has nothing to do with flying, flight simming or Fenix! Which is my point.
