Fenix Simulations has released the A319 & A321 Expansion pack for Microsoft Flight Simulator.  The expansion includes the Airbus A319 and A321 aircraft with both CFM and IAE engine variants, each with unique flying characteristics. For example, the A319 provides a different takeoff and landing experience compared to the larger A321, which has higher approach speeds and different handling requirements, and the expansion comes with customized engine sounds for each variant, detailed visual models, and a range of cockpit customization options.

    Feature Set

    The A319 & A321 Expansion pack includes:

    • Modifications to various systems like ELAC, SEC, FAC, FWC, and ECAM
    • Custom flight and engine models for each variant
    • Configurable emergency exit options on the A319
    • A two-class cabin configuration for the A321
    • An integrated Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) with performance calculators
    • A321-specific fuel system and an optional noise reduction package

The A319 & A321 Expansion pack integrates with the existing A320 Base Pack. The expansion is available for purchase on Fenix Simulations' online store. Existing A320 Base Pack owners can purchase it for £39.99 (including VAT). A bundle offer for new users, including the A320 Base Pack and the expansion, is available for £79.99 (including VAT).

Alongside the new variants, Fenix Simulations has updated the entire A320 family, improving handling, system precision, and performance across various areas. A update has been released for A320 Base Pack owners, aligning their simulation with the latest advancements in the A319 & A321 Expansion pack. This includes improvements in avionics, systems, art, sound, and more.

Add-Ons and liveries, including custom views, are available on Flightsim.to for both the Fenix Simulations A319 and A321. For the Fenix Simulations A320 please have a look at this category.

There are enough bireactor liners in this simulator, btw the cockpits of the A319 and A321 are identical to those of the A320. The developers would have done better to spend time on an A380, for which the FBW version has still not been made available. Personally, I see no point in putting any money into this pack..

There are many differences between the A319, A320 and A321 in the cockpit. They are quite different aircraft and not a stretched or squished version of each other, they have many different handling characteristics and system logic.
The easy part of developing an aircraft is the modelling and texturing, that is what is completed first. The hardest part which takes the longest time is system logic, flight dynamics and simulating how the aircraft exists so just because the cockpits make look similar, doesn't make it easy and a waste of time.
If you think that Fenix instead of making an A319 and A321 could have released a totally different aircraft instead in that time frame then you have no idea what it takes to develop a high fidelity, study level aircraft for a simulator.

Next step should be SHARKLET WİNGS !!

Ok well done you. You clearly don't use the sim like the people who will buy this pack. Including me. People who want to simulate real world airline operations, to the letter and are members of virtual airlines want this. For example, I cannot fly an a320 with Jet2 virtual, because Jet2 do not operate them, I can however, now fly an A321. And why care about the a380? In principle it is just a larger version of the PMDG 777 with airbus avionics not boeing, so might as well just using the boeing.
