The Milviz F-4J Phantom II is now available in Microsoft Flight Simulator as a freeware conversion from FSX. This aircraft has been adapted for Microsoft Flight Simulator by Aviator671 under the permission from Milviz, providing virtual pilots the opportunity to fly one of aviation history's most iconic military aircraft. The Milviz F-4J Phantom II, known for its performance and versatility during the Vietnam War, is recreated with authentic exterior details and customizable loadouts. Pilots can adjust payloads through a user-friendly menu, including wing ordnance, external fuel tanks, and other armaments.

The aircraft includes realistic animations and visual effects, such as openable canopies, wing fold, and tailhook animations visible in multiplayer sessions, engine smoke, wing vapor, and vapor cone effects. The cockpit gauges are partially functional but not clickable, per Milviz's release conditions. The aircraft is fully compatible with VR headsets. Designed to enhance multiplayer experience, the F-4J Phantom II features customizable loadouts and animations visible to other players. It includes a variety of liveries contributed by Joe Laars, offering personalization options. A companion pack featuring the Milviz F-4E Phantom II is also available, expanding the virtual hangar.

Known issues include flashing weapons or effects with certain light keybinds and an approximate flight model rather than precise adherence to specific speeds or fuel consumption. Some features or systems may not be fully functional or accurately represented due to the community-driven nature of the project. geesus. can there be a single military aircraft listed without the "mUh DcS" plug? Don't we all know this by now? We've read it on a zillion other threads and MSFS product listings.
If you want to fly anywhere in the world with great scenery and reasonable flight models, try MSFS.If you want to fly high-fidelity military aircraft in a multiplayer sandbox or set-piece single player missions, try DCS.If you want to fly like a real squadron fighter pilot in the highest-fidelity F-16 available, in a fully dynamic campaign with exquisite AI, buy Falcon 4 for $10 and try BMS.
