We are thrilled to announce a new addition to the Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft fleet - the Cessna A-37B Dragonfly bought to you by VrilleAPlat. This twin-engine, two-seat military jet is now available as freeware on Flightsim.to. The A-37B Dragonfly, designed by Cessna, is a ground-attack and counter-insurgency aircraft that saw service from 1967 onwards. With its twin General Electric J85-GE-17A turbojet engines, it's a powerhouse in the skies.

The Cessna A-37B Dragonfly freeware boasts a variety of features including two 3D model variants, a realistic fuel system, removable weapons, aerobatic smoke system, six-barreled minigun fire effects, and failure effects if the plane isn't respected. Moreover, the aircraft comes with a range of liveries representing countries like the USA, South Korea, Colombia, Chile, and more, although some liveries may have missing details due to limited reference images.

Installing the A-37B Dragonfly is straightforward - simply download and unzip the file into your community folder, but ensure you have 2.8 GB of free disk space.

Hi Flightsim-Team, You should fire Your AI-Translater. In Germany it translates six-barreled minigun to sixshooter. 😄

What weights do what with the pylons? I couldn't find it in the manual.

Thank you very much for this beautiful plane. It is so enjoyable. I guess it was a lot of work. Thanks for this.

I've found how to remove the pylons, using the DOS pad thingy stashed on left side, buy not how to display rockets and stuff.

Rockets and smoke generators are added to the pylons through using the armament panel (See the manual, page 11 "ARMAMENT PANEL", and it explains it...and I've been able to get it to work.

in the same amount of time it took to write the above diatribe , a person could have simply read the manual and solved their "problem" - It's sad to see how ignorant people have become.

I have been waiting for this plane for centuries for a Simulator, since Fs2004, I have P3D in Xplane but this image exceeds my expectations, I hope that when I fly it it is how it looks.. a thousand thanks to its developers!!!

Amazing! Brings back memories of flying this aircraft at Edwards AFB years ago. Exact same paint scheme and all!!Sincere thanks for bringing it to FS2020! Outstanding work!!!

Ok, Heres my polite response, as my original response showed my true feelings to you. Firstly i had the manual open on my second monitor. i had someone else in a discord channel reading and following my screen share with his own manual. and still the aircraft refused to start. So your "ignorance" comment was out of order...!!!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled and yet the aircraft sill refuses to start fully and run . A simple administration of the "Ctrl e" in the program would quite possibly solve my issues.. but as it stands it not usable at all.. (possibly there are conflictions in bindings , but i cannot see where) So ,maybe an apology from you is forthcoming?? or are you happy just being the kind of Smug Keyboard warrior that i detest.

im tempted, but im not sure if i take the turning at J27 or J28 off the M25 to get to you.. if you can clear this up ill be there in a jiffy.. i really need a full makeover as i currently look like an elephants fanny and any sort of powdery slap on my face will stop me scaring off my best punters.. Trade is down quite a bit and even though its not difficult work, having to wear two carrier bags on my head is causing issues when they get vigorous.

Saw many of these flying the flags of South Vietnam before 1975. Now I get to fly one ... thank you. I don't recall their having so many external fuel tanks though ..

So, when were you at Edwards? I was there from '83 - '86. As far as I know the A37s were used mostly for flat-spin training. As best I recall, we only had 3 or 4 A37s.

    Hello cwcnpa,
From 93-97. Spot on with the spin training! We wre required to do inverted spin training as well. Good times 😎.
One crashed during spin training and fortunately both pilots safely ejected. The aircraft flat as a pancake. Surreal to see.
Such a fun plane to fly IMHO. Really thankful for this addition in FS2020.
Only issue I have experienced is the loss of power / flame out on both engines when the aircraft in flight. No issues when starting from a runway.
All the best and thank you for your service! USAF Aim High!
