    There's a fresh addition to your hangar. Community creator ariebaba has released a detailed rendition of the North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco for Microsoft Flight Simulator on Flightsim.to. This model faithfully replicates the unique features and design of the original aircraft, and best of all, it's a freeware add-on. Originally developed in 1968, the OV-10 Bronco is a twin-engine, twin-tail boom multi-purpose airplane designed primarily for reconnaissance, forward air control, and light transport missions.

    It's primarily a single-pilot airplane but has room for a second seat, which can be used for an observer or an instructor positioned right behind the pilot. A standout feature of the Bronco is its cargo-bay that allows for the dropping of paratroopers, adding versatility to its range of uses. Pilots appreciated the Bronco for its ability to fly both low and slow, making it a favorite for specific mission parameters.

    Te Bronco is powered by two turboprops, with each producing approximately 715 hp. Notably, both engines share a single fire extinguishing bottle. Each of the engines is paired with a three-blade, constant speed, counter-rotating propeller. Pilots can adjust the pitch and reverse thrust using the power levers.     hi ok it's free but the 3D project was done to a minimum, random plane animations, bad textures and bad cockpit textures and features

    ....did you download the correct aircraft? The 3D model is mighty fine for a free mod, better than some payware aircraft. Textures are well done in and out, animations are detailed... I have no idea what you're on about. the only thing I'd criticise is the flight model, which to me appears a bit too flimsy

    I'm interested to see the quality of the ones YOU'VE made. oh, and gave away for free. This aircraft is excellent for a freeware aircraft, and while its not perfect, it's still a LOT better than some of the payware that I've seen.

    You hurt my feelings a bit 🥲I think you’re right though. I think some parts can be better. You would help me to more specifically point me to areas you don’t like. I have worked a long time on this and sometimes I just don’t see the flaws anymore. You learn to give more constructive feedback. I make stuff better. Win win. Thx

    I have a medium ok computer with (only) 8gb video memory. I had to stay within this limit. Maybe later when computers are better I will improve. Sorry for now.

    Sounds like you're describing a payware MScenery (CGTrader model) aircraft.
    A friend and I took out the Bronco for a fly around Peru last night, and spent 2.5 hours on the stick. It behaved beautifully the whole time. Yes, you have to constantly trim it - but its no different to the prototypical nature of the real aircraft (DHC-4 Caribou behaves the same way). We were really impressed with how quick you can pull her up on landing.
    There were very minor fit and finish omissions noted, but I know ariebaba is aware. Don't be discouraged, I'm excited to see an OV-10A Bronco in sim, I loved flying the one created by 'Piglet's Peculiar Planes' in FSX.

    Firstly, you don't have to apologize for anything. Rather we should be thankful for this great job. Otherwise there would be no Bronco in MSFS. Secondly, if you have create this plane on a computer with performance limitations, I can only say chapeau ! Thank you for your work and for all the time you've invested in this project. I'm really looking forward for the next one!!

    I downloaded it yesterday and my friend and me have been having a lot of fun flying it, you don't deserve the negative feedback that some have left.I found that if you get into a stall its next to impossible to recover, even with height to your advantage, not sure if the real aircraft behaves like that, I guess the trick is not to get into that situation in the first place!I would like to give a small donation as a token of appreciation but I cannot find where to do that since they changed the page layout. If someone can point out where that option is that would be great!

    i wonder if we are looking at the same aircraft, because your comments are not lining up with what I see. But then again there does seem to be a fair amount of whiny nancys around here that like to rag on others work despite the fact they themselves would be hard pressed to design anything but a paper airplane and even that would probably be a challenge ya? moral of the story, if you can't do better, it's probably best to keep your asinine comments to yourself and show a bit of respect to the people creating this stuff for YOUR enjoyment. otherwise you just come off as a complete jackazz :)

    I agree I converted the Blackburn Buccaneer & Avro Shackleton from FSX and I managed to get some of the gauges and working parts like speed brakes and doors to open and coni tower on the Shackleton to work. Both planes fly and respond good however I am reluctant to upload them here for FREE because I know there will be lots of moaners out there picking the planes apart.

    This is a lovely model and with great detail. It's a joy to fly. Ignore negative comments. I was a sound creator years ago. I had the privelage of being invited to record a Spitfire inside and out which was a wonderful experience. After uploading them for the community i was attacked by idiots saying i used other peoples work, also was told it didn't sound like a Rolls Royce Merlin hahaha! Incredible really. Your Bronco is great and Thankyou for your hard work ;)

    I built a model of this aircraft as a kid, i've always found its design, styling and mission to be very cool. Being able to "fly" this aircraft in flight simulator has been extremely fun and dare I say, joyful! Thank you for making this awesome plane for all of us to enjoy. I appreciate it so much!
