The T-37C could carry a light armament and additional wingtip tanks, making it heavier than the previous versions. The T-37 Tweet was used in about twenty countries, with only Pakistan still using it. A four-seater prototype derived from the T-37 was developed for the civilian market, but it never saw production. During the Vietnam War, a ground attack aircraft based on the T-37 was developed and built, called the A-37 Dragonfly.
