iniBuilds has in their most recent development update shared some information about their roadmap into the close future. In this update published via their forums, iniBuilds mentioned A310 plans, P-40F release and an upcoming A300-600 Freighter study-level add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

    The A300-600RF

The development team has confirmed their work on the Airbus A300. It should release sometime in 2023. In spite of the Airbus A310, this is going to be an independent release from iniBuilds. This A300 rendition is going to include a revamped exterior 3D model. However, iniBuilds didn’t share much information about this aeroplane as of yet.

Alongside the A300-600RF, there is much more to expect from iniBuilds in the upcoming year. Airbus A300 is a longer and older brother of the Airbus A310, which was recently released by iniBuilds. It offers the same aircraft logic and systems. Its first flight happened on the 28th of October 1972.

    P-40F Release

iniBuilds looks forward to releasing their rendition of P-40F for Microsoft Flight Simulator in the upcoming week. It is going to be available for approximately €23.21 on release through the iniBuilds store. The P-40F Warhawk rendition by iniBuilds has to offer an authentic replica of this aeroplane, with even modern features such as an EFB. The development team also accurately recreated the sounds of this aircraft by recording its real functioning counterpart.

There are also going to be seven different liveries available on release as well as accurate fuel systems, utilizing new fuel mechanics in the simulator. Speaking of fuel, iniBuilds also shared a short post-release roadmap. The development team is looking forward to improving this release right after it is available to the public. The first post-release patch is going to be mainly about bug fixing. However, iniBuilds aims to improve the EFB in this version as well.

The second patch is going to improve the already mentioned fuel systems. This update should also bring systems deterioration modelling. This essentially means that you have to change the oil in the aircraft regularly so it isn’t less effective over time.

    A310 in the near future

Lastly, there is a new update of the A310 within Microsoft Flight Simulator’s beta. Unfortunately, this update is not available for non-beta users. The team however will continue working on the aircraft and improving it.

In the near future, the A310 users should see improvements in nav and taxi lights, better optimisation and revamped sounds. Furthermore, iniBuilds aims to improve in-sim ATC comms and eliminate most of the bugs as possible.

Maybe slightly obtuse of them to say they'll not be doing the freighter for MSFS when we were getting A310. Maybe not originally planning on the A3 10 freighter, but they know what we meant 😉
Looking forward to this product line (hopefully including existing Beluga/VIP/combi/military) coming over, especially if they warm to the idea of filling in the 'gaps' (A310F & A300 pax) with enough demand. Initial performance issues aside, they've got an excellent reputation in X-Plane and it's a promising start in MSFS, especially considering the free A310 pax as a 'trial'/loss-leader for the other models. 🤘

freigher? ok cool why not pax version also? wtf

    YES! YES !

Considering how many people on their forums were saying they'd pay for the A300 cargo I'd say people do care.

Always good to have more aircraft. Sounds cool.

May I ask a probably dumb question? I ask because I am a former US Infantryman recovering from a TBI. Well, as of now recovering from a brain surgery to try and reduce my constant symptoms.....LOL
Anyway, I cannot process enough to actually put together a flight plan. But I am able to set up something rudimentary with IFR and AP and just spin dials at ATC's direction. I then cannot get a smile off of my face when I actually land.More than a few on an MSFS 2020 FB group have been cruel and insulting at my query's. I just hate having to post a warning per say' about a buffoon about to give them a head scratcher...
OK friends (I hope) I was excited to get the A310 and now hearing about a stretched version with the A300, I am really happy. Now, is it just me (probably) but it seems as if the A310 cockpit is almost offset as in a hypothetical diagonal line from the left yoke over to the right yoke?
Thank you in advance my friends...

If what you are saying is that the camera position is rotated sideways a bit, then I have experienced that as well. It's a little annoying that big addon devs like this can't be bothered to zero out a value in a config file in the same way that smaller devs can...

Hopefully the performance will be better than the A310. Still struggling to get decent frames with it. Edit - Tried with the last insider build that released earlier and it's a lot better.

Just hope they have a better system for ATC than the a310 in SU11.The ATC problem with not working is killing the plane for me.

Will a300 be free like a310 was

Of course not. Do you think they work for free?

Will be coming. But the freighter is FAR more common.

The A310 was free because Microsoft/Asobo payed them for their work. The A300 is not being financed by MS/A so you will have to pay for it.

    yep!

Wonder how much will the A300 costs.

Cool ! Maybe the will make a passenger version for it's A300-600!!
