Indira Gandhi International Airport (IATA: DEL, ICAO: VIDP) is an airport located in the city of Delhi, India that serves as the international aviation hub of the Indian capital of New Delhi as well as the rest of northern India. The airport, spread over an area of 5,106 acres (2,066 ha), is situated in Palam, 15 km (9.3 mi) south-west of the New Delhi railway station and 16 km (9.9 mi) from New Delhi city centre.Named after former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi, it is the busiest airport in India in terms of passenger traffic since 2009. It is also the busiest airport in the country in terms of cargo traffic, overtaking Mumbai during late 2015. As of now, it is the 17th busiest airport in the world and 6th busiest airport in Asia by passenger traffic handling nearly 70 million passengers.It is the world's busiest airport for Airbus A320 aircraft.

Features:

• Highly detailed custom buildings with PBR and night lighting.
• Animated jetways using default asobo jetways.
• Custom APRON and Taxiways drawn using the default asobo textures with utmost accuracy exactly matching the underlying bing satellite imagery.
• Custom painted taxiway lines, edge lines and hold short markings through out the airport.
• Custom textured gate markings on the apron exactly matching the real life satellite imagery.
• Custom textures taxiway marking on the taxiway's. matching the real life satellite imagery.

The aiport is painstakingly developed with every square inch on the entire 5,106 acres have been carefully analyzed and created with utmost accuracy. Lot of minute details have been added to bring it to the level of payware scenery. Also please note that the scenery is created on top of the existing bing imagery. Currently in real life the airport went through a lot of changes which were not modelled in this scenery. I will update the airport once asobo/bing updates the underlying satellite imagery.

Installation:

• Extract the VIDP.zip and copy paste vidp-vidp folder into your MSFS2020 Community folder.

Known Limitations:
The following are the known limitations for the scenery, i call them limitations not BUGS, since they are caused due to the actual limitations in the asobo SDK.

• Terminal 3, all left gates are not available for use, since the jetway is actually shared between the center and left gates in real life. Currently the sim does not allow sharing jetways between two parking gates, i have not added them. However i have painted the taxilines just for aesthetic purpose.
• The jetways in terminal 3 are actually solid. In real life the jetways on the terminal 3 are made of glass. As mentioned above i have used the solid jetways since the glass jetways are not available in the SDK. I will try to create a custom glass jetway in the future.

• 3D drain canals.
• Custom animated glass jetways.
• Custom animated weather radar tower.
• Custom airport boundary fences.
