This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire LF IXc OO-ARC as it looked between 1956 and 1962 when flying as a target tug with Cogea Nouvelle from Oostende-Raversijde in Belgium. Originally NH188, it originally flew with RCAF 416 Squadron. After the war, it went to the Dutch Air Force where it flew as H-64 and later H-109. It then served with the Belgian Air Force from 1952 till 1954 as SM-43. Cogea bought it in 1956 and it was registered OO-ARC (this paint). It was repainted in 1958, and sold to John Patterson in Canada in 1962, becoming CF-NUS. It was donated to the Canadian National Aviation Museum in Ottawa in 1964, and is still on display there. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
