Repaint of the excellent Flying Irons Mk IX spitfire to resemble the gate guardian at the danish flight museum in Stauning, Denmark

The actual 427 was used as a high altitude Spitfire, operated by the Royal Danish Air Force between 1947 and 1955.

This was a fairly easy reskin, but I love the Spitfire so much I had to do it - the red dot on the nose cone was the hardest part..

Thanks to Flying Irons for making such an excellent representation of the aircraft!
