Automatically changes the engine volume when switching between interior and exterior views.
The desired interior and exterior volumes can be set in the script settings section of the wheel editor.
Clicking on the widget will toggle between enabled and disabled.
The Showcase Views as External option will use the exterior volume setting for Showcase views if checked. Showcase views can be interior or exterior and I have not found a way to identify which it is. So all showcase views will use the interior or exterior volume setting depending on this setting.
The Use Misc Volume setting uses the Miscellaneous, instead of the Engine volume setting. This is must be enabled to work properly with the Fenix A320.
The exterior volume setting can be adjusted with the mouse wheel. The setting will be displayed in the center circle. After a 2 second delay, the new volume setting will be applied (if the current view is exterior).
I recommend placing this widget on a dynamic wheel so that you can adjust the volume and settings per aircraft.
Unfortunately, with this widget enabled, the Please wait/Applying settings dialog appears briefly, when switching between interior and exterior views.
The engine sounds in the exterior views can be really noisy, and the only engine volume setting affects interior views also. I understand that realistically the engine would be much louder outside the plane, but realistically the only people outside the plane while the engines are running are the ground crew and they would have hearing protection. I created this widget to make the engine volume more comfortable in exterior views.
Note: Requires Flow Pro version 2023.29.3.12 (or higher)
Nice program, thanks!
Sadly its not working with SU15 (Beta), are you planning to update it so it can work with SU15 Beta and/or SU15 when released?
Again thanks!
