Loads the fuel and payload weights from SimBrief
Supported planes:
- Asobo 787-10
- Asobo 747-8 (SimBrief Profile*)
- Kuro 787-8
- Asobo ATR-42-600 (SimBrief Profile*)
- Asobo ATR-72-600
After clicking on the widget, it will load the flight plan from Simbrief and display a Load Preview. Verify that the correct flight plan is loaded, and click on Load Plane to load the fuel and payload onto the plane. If the aircraft or airport do not match the flight plan, it will show yellow warning(s) just above the Load Plane button.
A loadsheet will be displayed if the aircraft is loaded successfully. The weights shown in the loadsheet are read back from the aircraft weights for verification.
This widget will automatically use the weight units (lbs or kgs) from the SimBrief flight plan.
Set your SimBrief username or ID in the settings.
747-8 Fuel Loading Sequence (version 2.4):
- Main tanks (all 4 tanks loaded evenly until tanks 1 and 4 are full)
- Center tank
- Reserve tanks 1 and 4
- Stabilizer tank
For more info about the 747-8 fuel system, please see the Boeing 747-8i Manual.
* I have created the linked SimBrief profiles in order for the ZFW and GW to match (the empty weight does not match on the default profiles).
There may be some slight variations of a few pounds in the weights, but it should be pretty close.
NOTAM: Do not use the MSFS weights screen with this widget! The payload weights will not match what this widget has loaded onto the aircraft, and making any changes there will mess up the load.
To check the version number, hover over the widget and it can be seen in the center circle (version 1.4 or higher). If the verision number does not match (or is not there), then try removing the widget from the wheel and adding it back.
Version 2 NOTAM: Version 2 does not replace version 1.x. You will need to add version 2 of this widget to your flow wheel separately. You may choose to keep or remove version 1.x. Version 1.6 remains available for download for now.
Note: Flow Pro is required to use this addon.

Very handy utility. Any plans to add loading of current simbrief flight plan also?
I'm not even sure it's possible with flow, but I think they are planning to include SimBrief integration in the 747 and 787 in a future update.

This is a very neat tool, thank you so much. Not sure how possible it is to slightly change the load sequence on the 747 to Main1+2+3+4 > Ctr > Stab > Res. This will make it easier for folks to to manage on a long haul with minimal fuel management intervention required, as the sequence for fuel burn, assuming all tanks have fuel, are as follows:
-CTR only until it reaches 80K lbs
-STAB starts transferring to CTR and engines continue to burn from CTR only until depleted in both tanks
-Main2+3 only
-when fuel amount reaches the same amount across M1+2+3+4 a FUEL TANK/ENG CAS is displayed and you now have to switch off the 2+3 OVRD pumps and 1+4 cross feeds (this is known as going tank to engine). If you do not do this, the 2+3 will run dry without the fuel in 1+4 being burned.
RES tanks automatically transfer fuel to the mains when they reach 13500lbs but at a very slow rate, so you want these tanks to be fuelled last. I think this would be a better way to fuel as WT has implemented this fuel burn to match real ops.
Now to give a long haul user even more flight time before they have to manually go tank to engine, and if possible with the tool, you can change the fuelling sequence to: Main1+4 (2500lbs each side only to prevent a low fuel CAS) > Main2+3 > CTR > STAB > Main1+4 > RES. This ensures that max fuel is provided for the initial burn sequence and seeing that M1+4 is really only activated much later you want to fill them second last, but have some fuel in there so you don't fly with a low fuel CAS the entire time if your required fuel quantity only fills the CTR/STAB and MAIN2+3. This is a bonus only if possible, but will give a user about 13hr flying time without having to do any fuel management, and you will only have a CTR empty CAS when returning to the flight deck.

Does this work without flow?
I dont use flow can you make a non flow version.
Sorry, but I have no experience doing something like this without Flow.
The ATR already has a way to load the payload and I expect the 747 and 787 will also in future updates

Could you see if you are able to add support for the Kuro 787-8 that was recently updated with AAU2 support? Link: https://flightsim.to/file/45062/boeing-787-8

Your loading widget is really awesome to quickly load the ATRs, but unfortunately there seem to be some issues with the new AAU2 B748.
Fuel loading seems to be accurate, but it loads in too little payload. For example for my last flight the ZFW by simBrief was around 273t, but after loading via your tool it was only ~240t. Hopefully you can further tweak your fine loader tool 😊
Thanks for your work!

The total payload loaded is correct. The ZFW is different because the 747-8 simbrief profile has a different empty weight. I have created a SimBrief profile for the Asobo 747-8 that has the matching empty weight and will result in the correct ZFW. https://dispatch.simbrief.com/airframes/share/476454_1688346093595

Hi
Which is the actual version of the add-on? At my place it continues to write that it is version 2.0, while it is supposed to be 2.1!..!
The current version is 2.1. To check the version number, hover over the widget and it can be seen in the center circle. If the version number does not match (or is not there), then try removing the widget from the wheel and adding it back. Also check the Content Manager to make sure the correct version is installed in the community folder.

Perhaps, but to do it properly each aircraft would need to be evaluated to determine how the weights should be distributed. I may look into this after the AAU2 update releases, for the 787 and 747 especially.
