Drzewiecki Design's KDCA Washington National is a work of art! It is a great model of Washington D.C.'s iconic airport. It includes a bunch of static aircraft that adds a ton of flavor to the airport but...the static aircraft are not everybody's cup of tea. For me, I do not want to see the static aircraft when I am flying online or working as a VATSIM ATC. It just confuses me.

I made this package to remove the static aircraft from the version of KDCA that was purchased through Microsoft's Marketplace. If you purchased the scenery from another third party such as Orbix, you do not need this mod. The scenery you purchased includes a utility to remove the static aircraft OR you can do it manually. However, Microsoft encyrpts purchases made through the Marketplace making it impossible to remove the static aircraft through other means. So, if you are like me (purchased KDCA from the Marketplace and want to remove the static aircraft), this mod is for you!

To use this package, simply copy the windsox-drzewieckidesign-kdca folder in this zip file to your Community folder. Restart Microsoft Flight Simulator and the static aircraft will be gone.

If you want the static aircraft to come back, simply delete the windsox-drzewieckidesign-kdca folder from your Commmunity folder.

For use only with Drzewiecki Design's KDCA Washington National. This package does not modify Drzewiecki Design's work or any of its files. It simply tells Microsoft Flight Simulator not to load the static aircraft in the scenery.
