Hello,
Polish pilot Łukasz Czepiela attempts to land a plane atop Dubai’s famous Burj Al Arab high-rise building. I had the incredible pleasure of taking a small part in the preparations.
Now I share with you a livery for CubCrafter X-cub: RED BULL DUBAI.
There are four liveries in the pack for the stock X-cub from Asobo and for CarbonProp XCub Tundra from Bush League Legends:
- RED BULL DUBAI x2
- RED BULL DUBAI2 x2
The RED BULL DUBAI2 livery is the last concept livery that RED BULL shared with me a few months ago. This livery was used for a flight and landing presentation in MSFS by my friend Airbus captain Mateusz Kuchtyk. Finally, the livery of the aircraft was changed and that's why I made these changes over the last two days to create the main livery of RED BULL DUBAI. I added the first painting concepts to the package as a curiosity, parts from the presentation are visible on several available videos on the Internet - Yes! In this video, Mateusz actually landed on the Burj Al Arab helipad also! (I don't know how...)
Due to the limitations of the Xcub model from Asobo, the inscription RED BULL cannot be applied to the two wings of the plane. There is only hope that in the near future Asobo will improve this model, then the wings will be replaced.

Installation:
Download and unzip to the Community folder.
In the RED BULL DUBAI there are already two livery: for X-cub from Asobo and for CarbonProp XCub Tundra from Bush League Legends
All you have to do is put the RED BULL DUBAI in the Community folder to have both (even if you don't have the version from BLL)
Same with RED BULL DUBAI2 - concept livery

Awesome livery!! One thing, is it possible to make the spinner move? Looks a bit unrealistic with it not moving with the prop as it should.

Version 1.0 and its the same issue for both the XCub and The BLL XCub.

Can you check for me please do you have this problem with any Xcub livery or just with this one? I have checked and the spinner not moving with propeller with any other liveries, even with Asobo default livery without BLL mod. I cleaned my community folder and uninstalled the G1000Xi and the problem persists even with basic painting. So it's not a RED BULL DUBAI livery problem just Asobo Xcub model and I don't know why, sorry. I just doing livery, I'm not on aircraft developer.

Ok, I found where the problem is, one texture of the moving spinner broke. Thanks for the tip, it will be fixed in the next update.

Generally, there is a problem with the spinner propeller in the model aircraft. The movement is barely visible but it is there (it can be seen when starting the engine from an external camera).. In this case the texture of the spinner in motion was in the carbon version, which additionally gives the impression that it was motionless. In a moment I will give an update with a different texture. Thank you again.

Any idea about the modification on the real aircraft compared the MSFS version? It looks like they extended the pad a bit for the real landing. But I can't do the landing unless I remove all weight (including the pilot) and at least 10 knots headwind.

In the original plane they make a lot of modifications, change of CG and transport fuel tanks more to the back of the plane. For this moment feel free to make your modifications to landing safely 😊 Thx for comment and kind 5 stars <3
