If you can make Dolomites you will be famous as Enzo Ferrari
@Wesjuh Thanks! I've been experimenting with colour settings and I've complexified my method of terraforming the landscape to blend the model in as well as I can. Tbh I'm really new to this stuff myself. Didn't know a thing about blender until a bit over a week ago, thought I'd give it a go since I find myself with more free time than usual because of the pandemic. I am quite satisfied with the way Arezzo looks. For now I'll see if I can further colour-correct the textures for Lucca, and I've prepared a model for Montepulciano which I'll work on when I'm free next.
Wow, this really is your best work so far!! I love it! The only thing is that the buildings are a bit too dark and red compared to the auto-gen around it and that the train section does not blend in that nicely compared to other parts of the city which really blend amazingly with the auto-gen buildings (best I've seen so far)
@Akrapovic That's a whole different kind of scenery to the ones I'm making. But there are a few areas in the dolomites that do have photogrammetry so those could potentially be done.
@IlParaCapo Multiple captures and you merge them together like a jigsaw puzzle while cutting away any bits of mesh that overlap. There's a bit more to it that that but this is the general idea.
Hi again, it's great as usual. Now I'm making my city but it's too big, so I'll divide it into 3 parts. How did you do for Pisa or Santiago? Bye
Fantascic work, is possible to have all the dolomites 😊 ?
