This folder contains a repaint for the Curtiss P-40F Warhawk by Inibuilds. It shows P-40L 42-10841 #A24 'Nona II' as flown by 2Lt. Alva Temple of the 99th FS, based in Madna, Italy in November 1943. On one of his first flights with the 332nd, he clipped a fence with his landing gear on takeoff. One wheel would not retract fully, but he still completed the ground attack mission, and belly-landed Nona II on landing, damaging the wing. He completed 120 missions, and remained in the Air Force after the war, winning the first 'top gun' USAF event in 1949 with his team from the 332nd. Repaint by JanKees.
