Presenting the A320neo throwing back to the colours that Aer Lingus flew from 1974 until 1996. In particular, I have tried to recreate the look of the 737-200s, 707s and 747-100s which flew for Aer Lingus in that era with their bare metal wings and engine cowlings. It took quite a bit of tinkering to get the bare metal look just right, but I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out.

    - Improved textures on metallic surfaces to better capture imperfections and a more natural overall look

    - New look for the winglets to match the striping on the fuselage

    - Removed overwing exit arrows and engine cowling stickers to make it more period appropriate

    Love it! First plane ever flew on was a Aer Lingus 737-200 on a perfectly misty winters Dublin day, way back when. This scheme brings back happy memories, thank you!

    Great to hear you like it and are getting a nice nostalgia hit from it. Honestly I was planning to do the earlier livery that Aer Lingus actually put on an A320 for its 75th anniversary, but when I googled "retro aer lingus livery" in order to get reference images, all the photos of this livery sent me into a nostalgia trip of my own and I just had to do this one first.
