This is my third painting of Real Super H Constellation, the others were done for FS 2004 and FSX.
As before, all effort was done to have the "real as it gets" result and an accurate portrayal of what was this Brazilian Connie by the time she flew to Latin America, North America and Japan during the late fifties and early sixties.

ABOUT REAL AND THE SUPER Hs

Born in 1946 as many other airlines from that time - with old WWII C-47/DC-3's - Real Transportes Aereos started flying between S.Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In 1950 with a fleet of 25 DC-3's Real flew to 30 cities in five states of Brazil.
With a policy of low fares, Real quickly grew in the brazilian market and started to acquire other companies and their national and international lines. In this way Wright, Transcontinental, Aerovias-Brasil and Nacional were incorporated in the Real consortium. By 1956 Real flew to all brazilian states, South America and the USA - international flights being covered at that time by DC-4's. By the end of the decade Real's fleet had reached a total of 100 airplanes, being the world seventh major airline at that time.
In April, 1958 the first three Super H Constellations - PP-YSA, PP-YSB and PP-YSC - arrived together in Sao Paulo - Brazil and were put into operation together with PP-YSD, in international routes to Latin America and the United States. The longest route ever was introduced in 1960 to Tokio, Japan with scales in Rio, Manaus, Bogotá, México City, Los Angeles, Honolulu and Wake Island; just a year before Real was acquired by Varig.
