Description
MOD's features/binds:
- Auto FBW toggle - now you'll be able to perfectly set your AOA with your trim for the smoothest landings and take-off! And still benefit from the FBW system during normal flight phases. The toggle is automatic and dependent to the gears IN or OUT.
- Unlimited Flares - you can fire them from the air: TOGGLE GLARESHIELD LIGHTS
- Unlimited machine gun bursts - you can fire from the air: TOGGLE LOGO LIGHTS
- Aerobatic smoke - ON/OFF: TOGGLE BEACON LIGHTS
- Several smoke colors - cycle through colors: TOGGLE WATER RUDDER
- Halo on landing light
- Toe brakes slightly stronger
Please note:
- You require the F-14 payware aircraft by DC Designs in order to use this mod.
MOD active versions:
- Version 1.4 ==> F-14 version 1.0.8

You require the F-14 version 1.0.8. If you didn't update your base aircraft and stayed at a previous version, it will definitely make your plane invisible and mess with some stuff.
But it's not really the add-on's fault: I would argue it's precisely because the base aircraft had GLTF files that were renamed after every update.
Anyway: for all your mods, always check you have the correct version of the mod with the correct version of the base product before writing anything in uppercase.

Released I believe on 9/18/23 and includes the F-14D

can you set the fbw toggle on where the gear is up so that trim and flaps are done manually

Meeeh... That's not really what I want for my own experience ;)
But you should take a look at Spitice's mod (which enabled me to get this feature in this mod) : https://flightsim.to/file/41883/fbw-toggle With this, you will be able to manually toggle the FBW systems when you want on "any" plane using Asobo's FBW system.

mate, always a great job!! Since the f-35 its mods add good playability to the game. As with the F-35, the F14 mod added missiles to the version purchased from the game's marketplace.

Thanks 😁 regarding the missiles, it's just a side effect. They are actually already present in the marketplace version, but disabled with a variable.
And since I'm working from the Just Flight versions, where the variable is set the other way around, my mods have this as a base. And so you get weapons too. Not the biggest work from my side 😅

Honestly, I don't think I'll do any new mod for any payware plane. I will try to keep the existing mods up to date but I will focus on my own original work (a complete aircraft coming "soon", my water airports pack I want to add objects and runway lights), and freeware/default planes (There are still a few items I'd like to add to the Pelican and 747 SCA, and I'm having crazy ideas with the H-4 Hercules... we will see).
So, no, no more time for Dean and friends. Sorry, but feel free to ask them directly if you think they should add features to their aircraft. I know CodenameJack is a good listener.

Thanks for your message. Your issue is due to the fact that you don't have the latest version of the DC Designs' plane (it got released yesterday).
And since DC rename their 3D file between each release (I think they're the only ones to do this), it has a spectacular effect when your plane and mod don't match. But at least it makes it obvious to troubleshoot 😊

Oh, really? My F-14 is v1.0.4... The latest version hasn't been delivered from simMarket...(TT) I will try again after getting v.1.0.5.

I have no pilots in the cockpit when the plane is on unless I start spawned on the runway.
