Have you ever wondered what is your most flown aircraft?
Do you want to track total flight-time, whilst not relying on the fragile built-in MSFS Log Book?
Our application will analyse your aircraft and pull out either Hours or Hobbs data and display it in an ordered list (currently a generated text File).
The included (and constantly updated) Aircraft Database then converts the internal names to the real aircraft names and combines all liveries / variants (where applicable) for specific aircraft, to total the hours per plane model.

To get started, just extract, install and run the applilcation. There is a full manual included.

Please uninstall previous version (using Add/Remove Programs) before updating.
Please note: We are getting many missing aircraft submissions with completely random and unfathomable names. For example, "RED" or "DELTA"... What is the model of the aircraft and publisher? We cannot add models to the database unless we can find the actual aircraft. So please email us with the missing aircraft file. So we can ask you about it.Thank you.

At this point, there's not much more we can do about this. It's a nightmare trying to get past all this stuff when we can't afford code signing etc.
I am afraid the only options are either ignore it or stop using the app.

So i installed the App V.3.8.3 and run. It shows a entry in the FileName, the Game Type (MS Store) and a system Message once the start button is pressed (green):
"Saved: C:\Users\Oliver\Documents\MSFS Hours & Hobbs\Hours\MSFS Hours 20230705 164126.txt
C:\Users\myname\Documents\MSFS Hours & Hobbs\Hobbs\MSFS Hobbs 20230705 164126.txt"
No txt is written to the above directory, though.
FYI: Game directory is on a different drive as default (H:\MSFS). Within are the "Community" Folder and "Official"The UserCfg.opt is pointing to that dir. MSFS works normal ...

Hi there,
A few of questions:
Were you running a previous version or is this your first install?In your text, it shows 2 different user names (one is "Oliver" and one is "myname") is that a direct copy from the text of the application?The location of your MSFS installation is not an issue. The data is read from a default area which remains the same regardless of where your main installation is.

Hallo, its my first install and yes i manually edited the username, but must have missed the second ...
Started the App today and got a database update. Then starting the process i got this message (from the window):

Folder remains empty and no file is written

HI there,
Hmm seems like the application is not getting permission to write the text files. Perhaps you can try adding the folder manually:
C:\Users\Oliver\Documents\MSFS Hours & Hobbs\
And make Sure it is not set to "Read Only"

Unable to get the program working. On clicking 'start', get message 'writing files' but Lister is blank. Tried in Hours and Hobbs.

What settings did you use? A screenshot will help.
Did you look at the documents folder?: C:\YOUR USER NAME\Documents\MSFS Hours & Hobbs
Is there anything in there?
Please answer and we'll get it sorted.

I have the folder called Lister. Every time I click start on the App, it writes files... but then get message 'This folder is empty" Same with Hours and Hobbs.

Hi and thanks very much for this utility. I am curious as to why the last week and last month lists are showing as empty but the full lists show aircraft I have only flown in the last month.
