#Real-Life #Sightseeing #Buildings #Handcrafted New Zealand Exclusive Drag and Drop

Over a hundred buildings in Auckland CBD, including the sky tower and bridge. These are all hand crafted, not photogrammetry from Google Maps. I did not create the models. I got them from the 3dwarehouse and imported them with blender.

  • Version 3.0 March 01, 2021

    Added night lighting

  • Version 2.1 February 28, 2021

    Renamed modellib.BGL

    Eden Park
    Bean Rock Lighthouse
    An AC72. (Sorry I couldn't find a model of an AC75)
The monument on One Tree Hill (and removed the trees from the summit).

  • Version 2.0 November 16, 2020

Added several new buildings including the Cloud.

Added cranes, floodlights, boats and cargo yards to port.

    Added the tank farm.

Sorry but the cars still go under the bridge. I have tried fixing this but so far no luck. Hopefully as the SDK matures I will be able to revisit this problem.

Anyone have any idea what happened to the Auckland Pack 1.0 by Authors
Sprout, MartyNz, Nethiuz, HybridNz...?? Are they developing under a new name?

    Thank You.

a Request: Please put your files within a folder e.g. "Auckland_city" within that, all your files.

I ran into an issue when I extracted your zip into my "community_files" folder where I have all my addons which I link to the "community" folder using the linker tool.

When I extracted your zip, the manifest.json file massed up my community_files folder and I panicked and got help from some good folks on AVSIM to get it restored. I then created a sub folder for Auckland_city and then put all your files from the Zip.

      Hi Manny,

The way I do it is this:

      1. Drop it into the community folder.
      2. Right click on the zip file.
      3. Select extract to spas3man-auckland
      4. Delete the zip file.

That should not mess anything up. I'll add these instructions to the mod.

Excellent! With my experience, I am really thinking non-photogrammetry IS the way to go. No more melted buildings, 1GB downloads, and poor frame rates.

clearly mentioned in the weak SDK manual.
Please be sure to change modellib.bgl to something unique for each file, like ZONABS-Modellib.bgl. See, please -
you will get CTD issues with modelLib.bgl

This landmarks dont have night lighting so i prefer another scenery https://flightsim.to/file/574/microsoft-flight-simulator-2020-auckland-pack-1-0
It could be great if you mix your hand-crafted buildings with that photogrammetry...

That's the better way to go. That photogrammetry does not work well when you want to represent detailed objects and airport buildings. Good work!
