Since your registration and color scheme is so close, any consideration to do the livery of the Cessna 401 N81AD from Rebuild Rescue? I'm sure a lot of aviators would love that! (Especially me....born 1981 and my initials are AD!)

Just downloaded latest version of aircraft, there has been 3 over the last 10 days or so. We have also had 40th anniversary update. Today I noticed that the mod no longer appears to work as I have that silly rear mirror back?

Dis not test your newest livery but it plane got updated again and changes the package so no mods needs to be changed.

NEW FEATURES:
1. The tablet checklist page now has clickable spots for each checklist stage starting after the walkaround stages that opens to a new page showing you a static checklist for that particular stage. Click anywhere on the page to return to the checklist main page or use the menu tabs below.
UPDATES:
1. New Light got updated. We removed the flare effect from all the lights except the strobes. This looks good when it flashes. So now it was just as before except we have improved light quality from New Light and the only flare effect is the strobes now.
2. The renaming of the folder structure was put back to the original name and so all 3rd party addons will continue to work without updating. This was put back because we can't change our package name and only the title name.

It would appear that the mod does not work after the last update 2.9.0. I have no other mods for the 414 running and have reinstalled the mod, no joy?

I just reinstalled from 0 the 2.9.0 version of the aircraft by downloading the installer again from the FlySimware website. Then I re-downloaded the 4 "Cleaned and Polished" textures of the C414 from flightsim. There are a total of 16 variants and all of them have started without problems, with engines and instruments ignition included. From PC with W11 and MSFS version 9 (I'm not on 10 beta). I don't understand the problem you are having. When you unzip the zip file, you should open the new folder and inside you will find "flysimware-414AW-N5AM_clean". It is that folder that you should put in Community. This is valid for the 4 textures mentioned "Cleaned Polished".
edit: I don't know what version you were using before, but since the last beta released to get to the current stable version, the developer has changed registry names to 414AW and from the installer it doesn't automatically delete old files. I guess the bug you have comes from one of the 2 possible reasons explained.

Yes, great idea and a verý good result.
I don´t like the too massive reflections on 414. All of the twin Cessnas I know have it only after delivery - after some weeks, most of the shine/gloss/reflections are gone.

I concur that I have as well seen many older twin engines get dirty and they often are not taken care of in manner they should as far as washing and waxing. This we can see with many types of GA planes though. However, just because there are a lot of them around doesn't at all mean that this is the case for every one, every twin Cessna (you've) seen isn't every one of them. You "don't like" reflections this is clear but it doesn't warrant you to spam misinformation on every clean repaint post here on flightsim.to
