About

V2.21 - Fixed file structure.  Remember to download and install all 3 files.

V2.2 - Added fencing around the airfield.  Added GA parking on the NE GA ramp.
NOTE: All changes incorporated in the KGBL file.

V2.1 - Compiled all 3 files into single .zip file.  You should now be able to download and install all 3 scenery packs.

V2.0 - A complete rework of the main terminal (I wasn't liking the google model, so I created my own models).  Also replaced some AI hangers with closely matching library hangers.  Added control tower.
(NOTE: Due to some conflicting texture issues,I had to break this scenery into 3 different files.  Be sure to download all 3 for the complete package.  Here's the breakdown of each file:
KLGB - terminal and immidiate area + "fly DC Jets" sign
KLGB2 - C17 factory
KLGB3 - Gulfstream maintenance facility

V1.0 Scenery enhancement to Daugherty Field in Long Beach CA.  Enhancements include:

  • Long Beach Airport Terminal (original and new)
  • Gulfstream Maintenance Facility
  • C17 Factory

I just reinstalled this scenery with all 3 files now everything has been great but for some reason there is no Ground services that will work, and all the air stairs reverse for about 10 feet then reset and repeat. the tugs are not recognized either. your sceneries have always been really good besides this one seems to have broken. It is no problem since I can just reverse thrust for Pushback thought, but I thought I would share this info with you since no one has replied in over 6 months. There is also double parking spaces there are Ramp and Gate parking in the same area.

its a very Interesting Airport for sure, but yeah a lot of problems have occurred over time, Keep up the Amazing work brother, your the best we have so far.

Funny thing about this airport. All the way back to FS9, this airport has always been a strange download and install, in multiple parts.

The scenery is awesome. I did notice an issue though. I started at Gate 5 but noticed the airstairs would not connect to the aircraft (A320NX) and same for baggage. Opening up the ATC menu also showed that the option to connect any of the services wasn't available besides pushback and fuel. Is this a known issue?

I downloaded this airport yesterday and find that the taxiways are missing. I can see the centerline and edge lines but the surface is missing and instead there is soft ground instead of concrete surface.

I believe you are referring to the taxi way texturing. Yes, I am aware of this issue. For some reason, when attempting to edit this airport's parking spaces, the SDK overwrote the airport textures and replaced them with stock bing textures. Once MS provides a better airport editing feature in the SDK, this scenery will stay as-is.

Because of this issue, you'll notice I have not attempted to edit an airport in any of my other scenery packages.

I downloaded the file put it into my Community folder.
Building 52 (Globemaster III) looks like it's a image in the concrete not a building same as the Gulfstream building.
Any ideas what I did wrong?

Glad you're enjoying it. Yes, I am continuously working on this airport. Next version will have fencing added and a few more hangers on the S side of the field.
As for LAX or BUR... LAX no, since MS's version is really good. BUR... maybe... cannot commit. I have a very large backlog. My next US airport will be John Wayne.

True LAX does already look really good. I look forward to leaving from your John Wayne Airport to go visit Disneyland and future west coast projects 😊 ! If you ever got time in the next couple months or whenever really having BUR airport done would mean soooo much as thats where I fly out of usually. Thanks as always for your time Freaky!

I see that now. When I uploaded the 3 files, the sight processed each one individually, so I assumed it would make all 3 available as well. I'll reach out to the admins and see if we can get this fixed.

Try it now. Should be able to download KLGB_ALL, and after unzipping it, you'll see all 3 scenery packs.
